This week It's Just add a sketch at Just Add Ink This is my take on the Sketch. I have used Basic Grey and some very old DSP which I still love . In line with my efforts to stop hoarding stuff I am trying to use up some of my treasures! The sentiment is embossed with the Pewter Embossing Powder and layered on the Silver Glimmer Paper. For the banner I used some Delicate Details lace tape and the flowers are punched with another very old product. I always like to add a little detail inside, usually a strip of the coordinating Paper from the card front. The sentiment inside says Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, from the One in a Million set. The flowers are given shape by using a soft mat underneath- I use an old Mouse mat cut down to size. With the round tip of a stylus you put pressure in the centre and then rub in gentle tiny circular motion to give the flower shape. Creating with the Flower Shop stamp set and the coordinating Pansy Punch is lots of fun and I have made a few frames to sell at my stall at the Handmade Expo Markets here in Rockhampton this weekend. This is my favourite. To make each flower I have punched the stamped image and 2 of the coordinating plain cardstock. I cut a slit in each flower between 2 petals to the centre. In the catalogue they have used crystal buttons but for my centre I have threaded a shiny bead with florist wire and poked it through. Using a hot glue gun is always tricky (now wearing bandaids on several fingers as proof), the petals are curled around the centre bead and glued one over the other to pull the flower into a 3D shape. The chipboard word was sponged with black ink, and the Shadow box frame is from Ikea. I wish I had bought more of those! Thanks for looking, Liz

Hi again, just adding my card for the Just Add Ink challenge#201 - a colour challenge I love Sahara Sand, and Island Indigo. Pool Party is easy to use but adding Real Red did challenge me. I have used the retired sets Established Elegance and Vintage Verses . The gorgeous script embossing folder was first inked up with Sahara Sand ink to give the light and dark effect, and the Deco Labels Framelits seemed to fit with the vintage theme. I don't often use the Decorative Edgelits but now that they are out I think I'll play with them some more. I still have a few of the lovely Pool Party spotty brads, they always add a little something special. Thanks for looking, Liz
