Welcome back for the start of a new year. Hooray for a new catalogue and new products. I'm also the proud owner of the new STAMPARATUS and I used it to quickly whip up 4 bright birthday cards. (for more details on why I am a lucky owner see this post ), It really is amazing. This is a very picture heavy post because I wanted to show you some tips with using it which I found helpful.  This week we are CASEing from pages 4-9 of the new Occasions Catalogue, and this is my inspiration layout on page 6 (top left) a coloured card base a panel of DSP ( I used the new bright and fun Bubbles and Fizz -free Sale-a Bration product) a solid colour wide strip with the sentiment extending over the edge of the panel of DSP a white circle with a focal image, and a narrow horizontal element some bling in matching colours The movable panels on the side of the STAMPARATUS  baseplate allow you to do multiple pieces and have them positioned the same. Welcome back for the last CI post before Christmas. I'm sure your place is as hectic as mine in the rundown to the end of the year. And what a gorgeous colour palette to finish on for 2017. And while I do still have Christmas cards to make I've also got a few birthdays coming up so went for a mix of old and new stampsets and a new card style for a bit of birthday pizazz. It's been an amazing and beautiful colourful year. I do hope you get some time to be creative and to play along for this round. I love a card that moves or has an interesting fold and this design is pretty easy - which is essential at this time of year. It did not take too long to put together which was a blessing! I love the swirly bird set and don't use it often enough but it is always perfect for a quick card because the elements are so fun and imprecise. I find Cherry Cobbler a very strong colour to use and a bit much for solid images so I used my favourite babywipe technique...
