CTC#102 HALLOWEEN NIGHTS, Jolly Jelly Babies

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night bloghop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. Designers can take a layout, a colour combination, or any element as the starting point to create something new. We invite you to tour around the hop and to join in -after all the Catalogue has so many beautiful samples to inspire us all. You may have come from Monique T I'm not much into halloween but I do love packaging and I do love treats! So I have a few quick projects from the markets I did this weekend to share. I used the clear Tiny Treat Boxes like they have on the left of this picture and the Cookie Cutter Bundle. The first is a box of NOSES! The Darrel Lea Chocolate Balls are nice and big ( and ok, yummy too!) Since there were 8 reindeer there are 8 noses in the box and one of them of course is RED - (These do contain peanuts so have to be labeled well) The second are for those kids that can't have chocolate and I have to con

Enjoy the little things - Graduation cards

These didn't last long- made them on Thursday, sold them on Saturday! Easy stamping onto the gorgeous background paper. The timber words were coated with versa mark and heat embossed with the last of my Pewter Embossing Powder! I"m pretty sure these are to be used as graduation cards - a nice piece of wisdom to young adults leaving high school. Let me know if I can  provide you with any cards for special occasions, Liz

CTC#101 favourite ANNUAL Catty BUNDLE

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night blogshop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. Designers can take a layout, a colour combination, or any element as the starting point to create something new. We invite you to tour around the hop and to join in -after all the Catalogue has so many beautiful samples to inspire us all. If you get lost you'll find the full crew  here.  If you are already on the hop you will have come from the very talented   Bronwyn . I love most things in the catalogue, but if I have to pick a favourite it has to be the jar of Love Bundle! Since I am getting ready for the Christmas Fair and I love baking home made gifts for Christmas I thought I would make some gift tags for the home bakers. I combined the jars with the A Yuumy Little Christmas set. I stamped these jars in lost lagoon, and then used the ink on the white glimmer paper for the stars to match- a simple trick but very handy.

CTC#100 Presents and Pinecones

Can you believe we are 100 posts young???? Welcome to the 100th post for CASEing the Catty. You may have arrived form Katherine's post or you maybe starting here- Welcome! Be sure to hop around all the participants this week as we take inspiration from the Presents and Pinecones. I've been short of time with lots of commitments- aren't we all too busy?? So I needed a quick card for this week's post - which is perfect as I am planning a stamp-a-stack for Christmas class. It's a very big section of the catalogue but I settled on the gorgeous card on page xxx I have a few different versions using the same layout but different colours and embellishments. Not everyone loves tying bows so I tried to make them very simple. Heat embossing is such a simple way to add instant pizazz. The sparkling emerald Envy embossing powder is fantastic but I would advise definitely using your embossing buddy to minimise the amount of stray glitter, and I would also advise

CTC#98 Warmth & Cheer

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night bloghop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. Designers can take a layout, a colour combination, or any element as the starting point to create something new. We invite you to tour around the hop and to join in -after all the Catalogue has so many beautiful samples to inspire us all. If you get lost you'll find the full crew here Welcome if you have come hopping from Deb . this week's section of the catalogue looks at the Warmth and Cheer section. I have chosen to CASE the angel cards on page 14. I like both of them so I combined a few elements from each.  For the first card I used DSP from the christmas paper in the main catalogue, and I painted the image using my aqua painter on Shimmery White card. For the second option I used So Saffron cardstock and stamped the angel onto Very Vanilla using versa mark and Copper Embossing Powder.  I added colour using the Aquapain
