Welcome back for another round of Colour INKspiration.  This week's colour inspo picture has all the purples- now this is not my go to colour so I don't have a lot so card in these shades, so I used a handy technique that doesn't require much. I don't know if there is a name for this, but I do know it is not a new technique, but it is quite effective. Picture credit  https://imgur.com/gallery/Xajb8Uk For the feature panels take strips of cardstock in different widths, and narrow strips of foil card - I used gold here (it's great way to use up the edges of scrap pieces). Edge the plain card with foil and adhere using strong tape to a large piece of window sheet (acetate). Leave small even gaps between the strips so that they will look as though they are floating. Using your cut and emboss machine cut the largest plain circle . Welcome back for another fun and bright colour challenge this week. I hope you have had some creative therapy recently - if not grab these colours and see what you can come up with! I ended up with 2 very different creations, just because the colours were sitting on my desk. The second creation uses one of the Artisan Additions dies and I love the effect.  I put a sheet of Mango Melody Cardstock behind it for some added interest. The jug is of flowers is a combination from Vintage Christmas and Bottle with Happiness. I love that the little message fits in the Best Label Punch. My last post was for Bronwyn's 60th Birthday using tropical colours. I had these colours on my desk and used them for a few other cards.  I was inspired by Cindy Schuster in a tutorial she shared recently ( The Crafty Carrot Collective Aug 22) using the torn paper technique. It's perfect for many occasions and these are great for men and women.  It's easy and fun- and you get 2 cards from the one activity- bonus. select 5 or 6 colours and cut cardstock to                       4" x 2 1/2" prepare two base pieces of plain thin Cardstock         4" x 3 1/4" Tear the strips in half gently "lifting" the card to create the rough torn edge. Adhere the layers using strong adhesive like stampin' seal, layering each piece in around 1/2" increments. Use the largest circle die to cut your shape.
