Colour and Contour with the new In Colours 2023-2025

Introducing the new In Colours for 2023 - 2025 I have used the same layout for each of these but changed the focus colour for each.  Pebbled Path is one of the new colours and I see this as a fabulous base card. It pairs beautifully with Gray Granite. Let me know which is your favourite. Boho Blue Wild Wheat It's quite different when you start to use it, with a somewhat olive tone. Not my natural favourite but I see it has potential. Pebbled Path the inside of each was decorated with another embossed strip Copper Clay Surprisingly warm and inviting. I am looking forward to using this one. Moody Mauve Lost lagoon is the green in each of these samples. I look forward to playing with all of these, new colours are invigorating! Here's what I used to create these. Gorgeously Made inspired by the Catalogue

We used the Gorgeously Made stampset at class last week and it was very easy to use. I CASEd the card on page 102 but changed the colours. The background DSP is from the Earthen Elegance Suite which I love. We used  Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock as the main stamping images and I love the pop of the Azure Afternoon for the wheat spray and the textured lines image, which really lifted the whole card. This is a  simple card to replicate, and would look great in a whole range of colours and background papers. We did some second generation stamping for the inside and envelope with the ink left on the stamps from making the front panels for a classy finish. And here's an alternative class card we made using the same stamps and inks and a silver diecut. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz

Hello and Welcome to another round of fun and vibrant Colour INKspiration. I love the texture in the inspiration photo, but mostly I loved the layers / blocks of colour so that is where I went with my birthday card. I used the new stampset Circle Sayings and stamped the cupcake 5 times in crumb cake. ( the bundle with the circle punch is great but I jsut used the stampset for this project ). I don't have too many blends so I coloured each one using my Blender Pen and each ink.  It wasn't hard to fussy cut each one. I do find that sometimes images fade a little when coloured this way so to preserve the colour I covered each one completely with Versamark and Clear embossing powder.  this also gives each cake lots of gloss. A simple touch of Bubble Bath ink sponged onto the background and a few pastel sequins and I'm done. The sentiment comes from the Welcome Home set and is very simple so as not to take away from the cakes. I hope you've been enjoying the other fabulous c...
