Back again!
And in my bid to join the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement I have been busy creating cards today. While this one doesn't have any sentiment on it, I have a birthday person in mind.
If you haven't heard about this movement you should join in. I explain it in more detail in this post.
My friend Bronwyn Eastley is a well known Australian Papercrafter who has recently launched
"The Colour Tree Challenge" which goes live each Sunday evening, along with our CASEing the Catty Bloghop (and monthly Challenge).
I had the colours on my desk for another Set of cards so it was natural to keep on creating with them.

The background Definitely Dahlia Stamp is new to my collection and I'm loving it. Here I have embossed with clear powder on the Kraft Cardstock, and I have used it with only Versamark on the Navy base. Some watercolouring on the Shimmer Paper circle and some fussy cutting of the beautiful little butterfly from the Grateful Bunch set were all that it needed. And voila!
Thanks for looking,
Liz
Elizabeth, I love your meld of Bron's colour scheme and the GDP sketch. And the Dahlia Background! Simply WOW. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dahlia background, ribbon detail and accent butterfly. Gorgeous card, Liz. Thanks for joining in at TCTC.
ReplyDeleteWow that background is gorgeous. The embossing is such a great way to add texture to the card. Love the way you've used the stamp set as well. Thanks for playing with Global Design Project.
