Emboss Resist is always a really effective technique for that added dimension. these are a few samples from a recent class where we tried the same technique in different ways. My photography is not the best so I apologise. This sample used the gorgeous Elements of Style set (p113 #121504) First I embossed the floral image with white embossing powder (p159 #109132) and coloured the images using the Stampin' Write Markers. I used Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette. Then to protect them from the background stamp marring the colours and also to add a bit more detail, I covered the coloured images with Crystal Effects (p177, #101155). I love this stuff! I left it to dry for quite a while till it was set. Then I stamped over the whole image with the Woodgrain Background Stamp using Early Espresso, and cleaned the residual ink off the embossed and coloured image.
