JAI #233 -Sketch Challenge

The sketch Challenge  this week at Just Add Ink use s trio of objects- one of my favourite type of layouts.



  I have been wanting to do a window card for a while so this was a good opportunity. I have used the beautiful Mossy Meadow as the ink and the highlights. I have used 2 different sized circle punches to achieve the frame effect and the gorgeous "World of Dreams" stamp set. 
I love the new Lovely Lace embossing folder design used in the base layer. This panel was lightly sponged with Pistachio Pudding and I love the effect. My sentiment wouldn't quite fit at the bottom so it's just a little tag at the side, with an old fave- the safety pin.

    thanks very much Christine, I always find have trouble getting soft greens to show well in my photographs so I apologise for that.

    So beautiful! Harmonious colour scheme and the tiny tag attached with the pin is such a sweet finishing touch. Amazing detailing.

      Thanks so much Jan, the pin is from the now retired Vintage Trinkets- I've just rediscovered them in an effort to use up some of my clutter!

CTC#100 Presents and Pinecones

Can you believe we are 100 posts young???? Welcome to the 100th post for CASEing the Catty. You may have arrived form Katherine's post or you maybe starting here- Welcome! Be sure to hop around all the participants this week as we take inspiration from the Presents and Pinecones. I've been short of time with lots of commitments- aren't we all too busy?? So I needed a quick card for this week's post - which is perfect as I am planning a stamp-a-stack for Christmas class. CI#04 Jars of Love

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. Aren't those pansies in the inspiration picture this week just stunning - those gorgeous yellows and strong purples. These are not colours I normally gravitate to but a challenge is all about extending yourself so i'm glad to have had a go! I have recreated a selection of jars with my very favourite Jar of Love set. I have made cards like this before using very bright colours which are fun and very sweet, (and I'll post them tomorrow, so make sure you have filled in the follow by email box on the right side of this page) but today I needed to make a Sympathy card for a good friend who also loves Stampin' Up!
