Well the excitement is building as we approach the launch of the new catalogue on June 2. As demonstrators we are able to purchase a small selection of what will be available in the month before so we can give you a sneak peak of what's in store. You may have come from Emma's blog. Emma is a new member of the team and it's great to have her on board. It's easy to continue around the loop to see what the design team have all been inspired to play with from their new toys - new colours, new stamps, new punches, new paper, new products.
I have to confess I wasn't sure where to start, but thought I would show you a great new product- Envelope Paper! Ir's text-weight paper made especially for making envelopes. It comes in 12 x 12" sheets in a pack of 20 for $10.50 and while it comes in two colour options I bought the new In Colour pack rather than the neutrals. It is not as heavy as the regular DSP and therefore folds more easily with less likelihood of tearing on the score lines. You need to be gentle with the score lines but it works a treat. Naturally being double sided you can have either side as your exterior and you can choose between bold stripes/plain or woodgrain and white/plain. Of course you can use the paper on your projects in place of or as well as DSP.
Here is a selection of Envelopes I made with each colour and a card to match using both new and old stamps.
Tip Top Taupe
Delightful Dijon
also showcasing the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the fabulous matching Punch
It also makes fabulous gift bags though they will only take very light contents. The sentiment is from a new Hostess Set, Happy Birthday Everyone and the Chrysanthemum is made form another new product- Cotton Paper. more on this at a later date.
Mint Macaron
using the new Dotted Lace Trim which is absolutely gorgeous and the new In colour Blossom Accents.
CASEing the Catty team.

ReplyDeleteThese are all so lovely! You did well to showcase all the colours in one blog post....I am flat out creating one card per challenge. :) I think my favourite is the first one - it is so lovely and soft. :)
ReplyDeletethankyou all for your lovely comments, Yes I love the Tip Top Taupe one too - but then World of Dreams is one of the best stamp sets around! So glad it is not retiring.
ReplyDeleteAnd Alison there will be weeks I am flat out getting one done don't worry!
What a great showcase of both the in colours & the envelope paper Liz. I too love that Tip Top Taupe card. I have held off buying the World Of Dreams stamp as I just couldn't see me using it. Your card is just gorgeous & has me rethinking my decision.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tricia, you won't regret getting the stampset, it's really versatile. I love it. Go for it!
DeleteWOW!! These are fantastic Liz - it is so cool to be able to see projects that showcase all 5 of the new In-Colors. Love how you've carried your project themes through to the envelopes - great attention to detail!
ReplyDeleteThe taupe card is so gorgeous and elegant and is fabulous teamed with the mint macaron. The watermelon comes in second for me, but they are all beautiful cards and envelopes.
