CTC#64 Sale A Bration Inspiration in love with "What I love"

Welcome back to the CTC blog for this week. I am still away travelling so this is brief this week but I wanted to play along.  You may have arrived from Rachel's blog and if you continue around the group you will see some amazing inspiration.

There is so much inspiration in the SAB catalogue but I was inspired by the gorgeous card alongside the What I Love set so have CASEd that. If you follow my blog (Just fill in your email details at the bar on the right side to get regular emails whenever I post something new) you will know that I do love a square card, and also that I am a big fan of Crumb Cake. For this card I used Tempting Turquoise stamped off for the 2 base images, and Pacific Point for the detail stamp, and Wild Wasabi for the leaves. Super Simple.

And just to show another version using a stampset you may already have I used Everything Eleanor with the same colours. You may be able to see Stella winking at you!

Thanks for looking, please enjoy the rest of the bloghop
and follow along with the Kathryn who is next.

If you get lost or want a complete list of participants check out the CTC Blog here, or better still create a card and post it here. You have the whole month to participate.

Happy Stamping, will be back home next week, Liz

  1. What a great CASE, Elizabeth. I love Crumb Cake too but for some reason I never make a square card. I am going to try one next time I craft, you have inspired me! This CASE looks great in both styles, but I particularly like how you used Everything Eleanor as an alternative.

  10. I must stamp on crumb cake cardstock as it makes these colours just stand out. It's great to show that you can substitute another stamp set and it works so well too.

  11. Creative use of the colours on the Crumb Cake card stock. I haven't inked up Pacific Point for a while as I tend to avoid it. You've made it look good! Lol.

CTC#86 Everyday is a good day to send a card

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night blogshop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. Designers can take a layout, a colour combination, or any element as the starting point to create something new. We invite you to tour around the hop and to join in -after all the Catalogue has so many beautiful samples to inspire us all. If you get lost you'll find the full crew here . You may have arrived from Simone , so welcome. And this week we are really excited to welcome 3 new designers to the team, Krissy, Deb and Kelly  please do leave them a comment and welcome. This week we are using the samples from the Everyday Occasions section (which is a huge section) from pages 66-91. Because this is such a big section we will revisit it in a few weeks.  I have chosen the card on page 71 because I have always been attracted to grids.  I have used the gorgeous new By the Shore Designer Series paper, it has such a lovely fres...

New In colour 2025-2027 cards and the FABULOUS Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. I created these for my upcoming Catalogue Launch. I put the Washi onto Basic Beige to cut these flowers and love how it coordinates with the Basic Beige card base. To create these cards I trimmed 2.5cm from the front edge and adhered a 3.5cm strip of DSP to the inside of the card to give an added layer. These were easy to put together. Darling Duckling Secret Sea Strawberry Slush Timid Tiger Cloud Clover June 3 - 30 Stampin Up has an amazing offer where you can get 50% off any second product from a suite. So for example if you were to purchase the Extraordinary Flora Die you would be able to buy the tape at 50% off. Please reach out if you want more information on this great deal. You can see all the available suites in my online store. I am loving all the new colours.  I hope you have a creative week and remember,...

Colour INKspiration#178 Happy Hibiscus

Happy Hibiscus is a new set in my collection and I needed to get it out and play with it, so this colour combination seemed like a good place to start.  Isn't the Inspiration picture amazing? I wish I was a better gardener and could grow these gorgeous treasures. But since that is not my skill I am happy to admire nature. Picture credit - https://leahhopephotography.client-gallery.com/.../print... I used the watercolour 100 paper and created two pieces of colour, one a range of dark and light Calypso Coral, and one a mix of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  Once dry I was able to cut out the leaves and tiny flowers. I stamped the 3 large flowers over the watercolour and cut them out using the Hybrid Embossing Folder - It's so easy and super effective as it embosses and cuts in one pass creating some amazing depth for the blossoms. I love the leaf shapes and definition in these dies, just gorgeous. Lots of white seemed like a good way to let the colours shine, so a simple embosse...
