Foliage Frame Framelits- such a great way to use the new Embossing Mats.

Hello and welcome back, today I have a few projects made using the other brilliant embossing framelit from this set. You can see the earlier posts if you search under the labels Foliage Framelits, or Floral Frames- or just go back one day!

For the first one I coloured the leaves with an aquapainter. -ok but not great.

For the second I added no colour and just layered it up on some gold foil offcuts sitting on my desk.
Inside reads Wishing you a lifetime of love from the Better Together set.

And the third show how the stamped image is so much larger than the framelit. I sponged the leaves with Mint Macaron for this one. I like this effect much better. I'm also loving the new Subtle embossing folder!

After my last Facebook post with the my window card using this set I was directed to another Demonstrator who used this set and I was able to see the Stampin' Up! video which details how to use the new Embossing Mats. I swear I have searched for one but couldn't find it so I'm really glad to be able to share it with you.

I'm off to CASE Chad's card at the end of the video now!

I hope you have a creative week and remember,

"don't just post online,
 post something pretty!"

cheers, Liz

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are.
