Merriest Moments Stepped up version for an Easel card

Following on from yesterday's card this is a slightly stepped up version - the leaves are embossed in silver and the dots are stamped in Sahara Sand. A little touch of ribbon - I love to cut the ribbon in half to give a much narrower bow- it's soft and delicate.

This is converted to an Easel card.

To create an Easel card simply score 3cm (1 inch) from the end of the card front. Adhere your full sized card front panel to just the one inch flap. On the inside of the card adhere a strip of DSP and a raised panel which will be the stopper for your card to stand up against. The beauty of the Easel is that if folds flat for posting.

I have lots of samples of Easel cards on the page which has all my fancy folds links. You'll find the page on the far left of the banner as indicated below.

  1. I've loved all of the cards so far that you've shared from your Christmas class Liz but this is my favourite. How have I never done an easel card scored in that way???? It stands up so perfectly. I think this may just be my new favourite craft fad! You always inspire me. x
