Penned and Painted thinking of you for JAI #345


We got together the other night and did some stamping- no projects specific, just trying different things.
I played around with the Penned and Painted set, and I wasn't really happy with the colours or how they looked so i was going to throw them out. .....

couldn't do it.......

co I cut them out and played some more and came up with a simple card which I quite like now!

I love the Delicate Details heat embossed in White on Kraft..
And the layout works for the challenge at Just Add Ink this week


the enamel dots are the retired sublets dots, and to give them a little gloss I covered each with the fine tip glue pen - just adds a little more dimension.

    I love when something you dont love turns into something you do. I love the cluster of flowers teamed with the rows of embossed lace. A lovely combination & great way to use the sketch. Glad you could play along with us a Just Add Ink.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44.
