Catalogue Launch and Card making retreat


It's been a busy but very rewarding weekend. Thanks to so many people who helped it all come together- but mostly thanks to my darling Husband who is ever so patient and supportive. I am happuy to be home and all unpacked and just wanted to share a few photos from today.

24 talented crafting ladies came along for a full day. They each made 8 cards and I was impressed with how fast they all were. I did very little teaching and I just love how everyone helps each other and shares tips and experiences.




These 5 lovely cards were made for me by Diane Vipen, one of my downline . She created an awesome disply using Eastern Palace which I don't own but which has worked wonders with.

    Thanks Liz for putting on such an amazing day. Wonderful cards, great company and just an all round super fun day..... Mum was so excited that she won the golden prize made her day and I am ecstatic with my prize of a blender pen.... Again thanks

    Looks great!! I won't be able to do my launch until July so I am going to be busy prepping when my order arrives Tuesday. Congrats on a great release party.

      Thank Heather. I always love looking at other people's displays and projects - it helps me plan my own events so I am happy to share what I managed to achieve and hope others might get some tips too

New In colour 2025-2027 cards and the FABULOUS Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. I created these for my upcoming Catalogue Launch. I put the Washi onto Basic Beige to cut these flowers and love how it coordinates with the Basic Beige card base. To create these cards I trimmed 2.5cm from the front edge and adhered a 3.5cm strip of DSP to the inside of the card to give an added layer. These were easy to put together. Colour INKspiration#178 Happy Hibiscus

Happy Hibiscus is a new set in my collection and I needed to get it out and play with it, so this colour combination seemed like a good place to start.  Isn't the Inspiration picture amazing? I wish I was a better gardener and could grow these gorgeous treasures. But since that is not my skill I am happy to admire nature. I used the watercolour 100 paper and created two pieces of colour, one a range of dark and light Calypso Coral, and one a mix of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  Once dry I was able to cut out the leaves and tiny flowers. I stamped the 3 large flowers over the watercolour and cut them out using the Hybrid Embossing Folder - It's so easy and super effective as it embosses and cuts in one pass creating some amazing depth for the blossoms. I love the leaf shapes and definition in these dies, just gorgeous. Lots of white seemed like a good way to let the colours shine, so a simple embosse...
