This week   Bec   is preceding me on the blog so welcome if you have come from her page. This week we are using the samples from the CHRISTMAS section from pages 26-37.  I was inspired by the gift box made form Music Paper on page 26. So I made a few boxes.  The first was a little tricky but looks pretty, though now I've tied the ribbon  it will stay empty for a while...The instructions are from an old blog post in Dutch which even when translated are a bit tricky. -  and my box looks slightly different! As it happens I have co...

GDP#44 for a Confirmation Card

I had the pleasure of attending the Confirmation Ceremony of our goddaughter last week, so I needed a special card for this beautiful girl.   Steffi's cards are always simple but stunning so CASEing her cards seemed perfect for this occasion. Awesomely Artistic was a great background stamp for just a hint of pink - well sugarplum actually - and the Copper Embossing worked a treat. I also stamped the flowers onto a spare piece of Shimmer paper, heat embossed the cross in copper and cut that out to lay on top. A copper dove and some thread to finish off and a simple message inside. thanks for looking, I hope you get some time to be creative today, Liz

Sunshine Wishes set of watercolour notecards

The sunshine wishes Framelits are super cute. The flower is such a strong image it needs very little to go with it. This set simply has a watercolour panel stitched onto the base. The flowers are cut from coaster board which is a good thickness. Simple but effective, I think. And these are definitely better than email! thanks for looking, Liz

A boxed set of Jar of Flowers Cards

Hello there, we made this card at class the other day and the ladies all had lots of fun making them. I had a few kits left over so I made them up into a set and boxed them ready for the markets. I always stamp the inside and the envelope to match. And I have recently spoilt myself and bought a personal embosser - I love it. It says Lilllybet's Papers - Handcrafted Paper Goods. Blushing Bride Watermelon Wonder Emerald Envy Crumb Cake The cards are on a base of Lost Lagoon which is now retired. thanks for looking, I will have more samples using this set in the next few days, and you can find them on Pinterest too Cheers, Liz

Jar of roses - a delight of nature with a colour challenge from the Paper Players and SUO

Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #152 this week is all about taking delight in nature - and what could be more delightful than a bunch of roses - well maybe Home grown roses but that is a rare occasion here since I spend too much time at the craft desk to get any meaningful gardening done!! None the less a jar of roses is a beautiful thing! And taking a cue from the Paper Players 303 colour challenge I have had a bit of fun stamping.  And just for good measure a little touch of sparkle with some wink Of Stella! thanks for looking, I hope you have found some time to be creative today, Liz
