What a wonderful time we had at class yesterday. Lots of fancy folds. This one was the trickiest but everyone created a beautiful card. We just took it step by step.
You can cut the cardstock from one sheet of A4 cardstock. There are a number of steps to add the DSP. Then you cut a large and small circle to create the frames.
We all put a little posy of flowers in the centre of the frame. It's such a lovely surprise when you open the card up.
The belly band holds the card closed. You don't want this to be too tight.
The gorgeous Wildflower Birthday Paper is so easy to use for these cards, and the press out elements make it easy to decorate.
The boldest DSP is best at the back of the frames. This side view shows you the middle and front frames.
This is the original video.
It is in German, but you can see the process and create along with Ingrid Hafner
and this is Ingrid's link to the cutting diagram.
I hope you give this a try, it's a very versatile card. Ingrid also has a link to a landscape version as well but I haven't tried that one yet!
I will post more details and photos of the rest of the cards from class over the next few days.
I hope you have a creative week and remember,
"don't just post online,
post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz
