In time this time with a Fancy Fold Diorama card! FMS#202

After missing last weeks entry date I have another card in the same great fold  for this weeks challenge. I love this fold because it's so quick and easy and it folds flat for posting. The Whole Lotof Lovely stampset is also really quick and easy to use. I've used So Saffron, Pool Party Calypso Coral and Old Olive for this card. I have used the same fold inspiration from Julie Davison, and the link to her blog and directions can be found on the post with the card for last week's FMS challeng e (which I didn't get posted in time). Essentially it's a piece of cardstock: cut to        5 1/2" x 10 1/2" Score at    3 1/2", 6 1/2", 7" and 10" matching envelope using EPB  (to fit 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 Gladstone) cut to      7 1/2" square, Punch and score at 3" I played around with sizes to try and make one slightly bigger and care up with the following: cut to        5 1/...

Whole lot of Lovely Pop Up Diorama Thankyou

Well I'm too late for the link up for Freshly Made Sketches but here is my card anyway! Card making just seems to have taken a back seat lately... This is a really cute and simple fold with a surprise pop up in the middle, quick and easy to make. It folds flat to fit in a regular envelope for posting. I again have Julie Davison to thank for the inspiration and directions. You can find her sample here One difference I did utilise was embossing just the front of the card, and I used the fabulous  Softly Falling embossing folder which is new in the occasions Catalogue which has just been launched this week. I love this folder. I have used So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Old Olive, and the hostess set A  Whole Lot of Lovely . Thanks for looking,  Liz Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

But her we are hopping around the CTC crew looking at how many different ideas we all come up with from the inspiration pictures in the Gift Wrap and Packaging section of the catalogue....So Welcome! I'm at the end of the hop since I was late getting organised so you will have seen some beautiful projects on your way here. You may have arrived from Julia's blog. Gifts and Packaging are always fun to paper crafters, and especially so with all the beautiful papers/ tools/ embellishments and fun products availalble. I started with a CASE of a CASE when I fell in love with a little handbag on Bronwyn's Blog from the stamp review crew using the Petite Petals stampset some weeks ago. The instructions originally come from Scrap and stamp with Frenchie   ( here )  and it is a quick little project. My first little bag is made with some of the gorgeous English Garden DSP using old olive and blushing bride as the trims. ...
