CI#134 Twigs & Sprigs with Handmade Wishes for a new Christmas card

I couldn't help myself when the big sale was on and had to get my hands on the  Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and Die. It's a neat set that can emboss and cut your cardstock in one pass on the Diecut and Emboss Machine. I added some Parakeet Party ink to the top of the white leaves using only a marker and love the effect. The Embossing folder worked well on the silver and white paper - but any paper would work. The sentiment was easy to build just using the Handmade wishes set- you can mix and match any of the words in the set to create your tags. Stamp and punch, too easy.  You can find all the products I used here Not sure if you can see the sparkle from the wink of stella but no card is complete without it! Twigs&Sprigs - page 177 of the Annual Catalogue, online here It's a very strong green! Looks quite tropical for Christmas which is totally in line with the watermelon in the inspiration pic for this week's challenge which will run for 3 weeks. So put you

#onstage 2022 Fancy Flora Suite Display Stamping, Sydney, # 6 Christmas Tags ideas

I'm so honoured to have been asked to present the premier suite "Fancy Flora" from the new Mini Catalogue - what a treat. ( Available January 5 - May 12023 ) This is one of a series of posts showing some of the projects I created using this suite. The Something Fancy dies are label dies which can be easily layered to create interesting tags. I used the Framed and Festive Christmas sentiments and two tones of cardstock to create these layered tags. Super Easy and quite effective. The straight ribbon slots are simply created using the Label me Fancy Punch. And when you diecut your sample pieces you are left with a template that is super useful. Lay it over any sentiment to check which is the correct size for your layout. Thanks to my friend and fellow demo Sharon Dalton who inspired me to go to this level of effort- totally worth it! I have always done it for my punches, but this is next level craft room organisation for me! I hope you enjoy creating with these products as

#Onstage Sydney 2022 Fancy Flora Suite , Display Stamping # 7 beginner, casual, avid samples alternative colour scheme

I'm so honoured to have been asked to present the premier suite "Fancy Flora" from the new Mini Catalogue - what a treat. ( Available January 5 - May 12023 ) This is one of a series of posts showing some of the projects I created using this suite. It is totally lovely to use. I showed my beginner, casual and avid samples here on   .11.22. But I had also created an alternative set in a different colour scheme. Cazz went home with the avid version. The beginner and casual samples use simple techniques for some added interest. Here is some detail of the coloured shimmery white embossing paste over the sponged Fresh Freesia background on the crumb cake cardstock. Again I used the bough punch for some added elements. I hope you enjoy creating with these products as much as I have. I still have a few more samples to show you, so be sure and pop back and check out all of this week's posts. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post

#onstage 2022, Fancy Flora Suite Display Stamping, Sydney # 5 Different effects using different papers and a shaker card

Using the detailed dies creates such different looks depending on which paper you cut it from. Wedding cards are always in high demand and this is so effective cutting the card front with the large detailed die from the Pearlescent Specialty Paper. I have gold embossed a few flowers onto Shimmer card, and heat embossed a few leaves in white onto some vellum. The design of the die allows for layering some of the floral elements from the set onto the detailed background. It's a lovely easy effect. The second example uses the detailed die again and cutting it from another of the DSP pages but it is then directly adhered onto a window sheet. The frame is created using the Fabulous Frames dies and cutting directly from the Fine Shimmer 12 x 12 Paper Pack ( I just love this product) . Layer it all up with some adhesive foam strips and your shaker is a wow card. The gorgeous Fancy Flora DSP is so colourful and versatile. For the next 3 cards I simply left the DSP as the star of the show
