Lillybet's Papers

 January Card Class used the Dainty Delights Bundle for some different cards, including this one which I have called the "Quarter Sheet with Front Flap". I don't know what this card design is called but I have given it a name so I can find it and the instructions and measurements for future. It's not very imaginative but I think I can find it when I go looking for "that" design! You can find it too by going to the PAGE marked Fancy Folds at the top of this blog page- I have a list and links to all the fun folds I love to make. This one uses a Quarter of a sheet of A4 Card as your card base, and a narrow folded flap adhered over a DSP mat layer. I have used this a lot for Christmas cards in 2022 and find it a great card to show off some pretty paper. I use predominantly metric measurements but this one uses DSP in 4" strips which is an economical way to cut your paper so I have included those measurements here too. I'm a big fan of puns - I come from a family that uses them all the time , so naturally I had to have this set to send to some of them. I was also inspired by Jennifer Frost at the #Crafty Carrot Collective for their August month of masculine cards. Jen's sneak peak used this layout and the watercolour wash behind layered strips and sentiment. I have used some of the DSP and a few elements from the He's All That DSP. This Paper pack has  2 sheets of elements which you simply press out from the card to stick on your projects. The arrow, banner and stars are from these specialty sheets, so easy to use. I stamped the cardigan in Garden Green and then gave it a light wash with water and my aquapainter but then once it was dry I re-stamped the cardigan in green again to give it more definition. The buttons are just coloured in with the Espresso marker. while I had the set out I played with a few of the other images. The Typewriter is just so cute, and easy to use.  I have paired...
