A girl can never have too many flowers!! GDP#175, and SUO#216

The gorgeous new floral Romance Suite is delightful and I'm amazed at how beautiful the framelits are - I really shouldn't be amazed because all the SU products are such wonderful quality, but there is something extra lovely about this set. I love the detail cutting out the tiny pieces between the sprigs of foliage. Here's the card recipe Heat embossed the image onto watercolour paper with white embossing powder watercoloured using my aquapainter with Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, and Berry Burst inkpads and Fresh Fig Marker for the sprigs  cut a rectangle stitched framelit for a panel of navy from the card sets embossed with polka dot basics. dragging technique with the navy inkpad sentiment and framelit from wood words for the tag remnant of Melon Mambo ribbon and strands from white hemp ribbon I am entering this in the challenge at the Global Design Project #175 and at Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday using the sketch at Just Add Ink #442

Well hello. It's only February and already I'm behind with my birthday cards- how does that even happen? The good thing about needing some more birthday cards is that it's the perfect opportunity to use some new products. I've been itching to get the framelits for the floral romance set and I'm just so happy to have them. I'm amazed at how beautiful the leaf sprigs are in this set- and they seemed the perfect way to use the fabulous Sketch at JAI. I have used Granny apple Green and Rich Razzleberry for this combination. The gorgeous mini butterflies are so lovely with these. I've just looked at the finished card and realised there are some mini flower embellishments from the Floral Romance suite which should match perfectly tucked in there too.
