Double Front Top Fold Card #2 with Country Flowers

I posted my first version of this card for Colour INKspiration #165 on May 8.  Here is another version which we created at our Rocky Retreat this weekend. I did see this card on Pinterest by Wendy Weixler, who also referenced Lisa Curcio. But as usual I like to convert the imperial to metric measurements. Our A4 cardstock is not wide enough or long enough for standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" US cards, so by converting for metric you can get 2 cards from one sheet A4 As promised here are the measurements: Metric measurements to fit in our C6 envelopes and imperial - as suggested by Lisa Curcio and Wendy Weixler material I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz

CI#165 Country Flowers posy

 Welcome back to Colour INKspriation round#165. This week we have some beautiful new colours in our challenge. Shy Shamrock and Peach Pie are new, and team beautifully with Petal Pink. I am using the Country Flowers set quite a lot at the moment preparing samples for class coming soon. I saw a card like this on Pinterest and thought it was so fun I had to try it. I have done a double front card quite often in the past but this version is a top fold rather than a regular book fold. I have developed the measurements for the metric market and will post them after the class. Here is my card, I am quite happy with how it turned out. The colours work really well together - although I will say I thought the green stool was a bit bright so I actually added a layer of Peach using the Alcohol blends for this card- it did tone it down a little. When you open the card front there is another pretty layer to catch your attention. The pot plant is a little simpler than the posy, but there is ple...
