  There are several great techniques using White Pigment Ink. At a recent event I demonstrated a few of them including: ( well it's a while ago now!)     * Direct stamping with White onto coloured cardstock     *Offset stamping     *Bokeh technique     *Painting with White Ink     *Emboss Resist It has taken me a while to share these samples, I'll post them over a few days. I hope you give some of these techniques a try. So this is a bit of a different approach to Emboss Resist. Often it is done with White, or Metallic , or Black and then coloured ink is blended over the embossing to make the stamped image jump forward. ( usually on a neutral cardbase ) This technique uses a different approach. Step 1. I stamped the leaves (from Changing Leaves) with Versamark and then used Clear Embossing Powder. I posted a card using the fabulous Changing Leaves 3D Hybrid folder for Colour INKspiration #168 back in June of this year (2024). I created some alternative samples at the time because I was having such a good time using it. This is one that also did not get shared with you at the time. I have used the copper from the amazing Metallics WOW! - Embossing Powders  which are a new formulation and much improved on the previous type.The watercolours are added after I embossed the leaves and they look so pretty. I just love the texture and detail from the embossing folder - and of course I do love a square card!  Thanks for stopping by today, perhaps this might inspire you to create and send a card to someone who might love a little note to brighten their day - I know I always love it!  A super quick post to get my card entry in on time. Opened up a set I have been longing to use. Thanks JAI for the inspiration picture. I've picked up the copper from the vase in the copper embossing, the brick motif on the embossing paste, the timber in the embossed vellum and the white and yellow flowers in the painted flowers. After heat embossing with white powder on white Craft Ink stamped image, I coloured the leaves and flowers with white Craft ink using the blender pen, then coloured over the dry white images with Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight using the blender pen.  It's a lovely soft image coloured this way. The colour palette from the picture also included Smoky Slate cardstock layered behind the Crumb Cake panel. I have recently purchased the  Hello Doily  stamp after seeing it used by a customer for her wedding invitations. It was stunning. So I have been playing with embossing the image with the Pewter Embossing  Powder. It's beautiful . This card uses Regal Rose card stock as the base, embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder in the big shot. The doily is heat embossed on Crumb Cake card stock. I didnt have any seam binding left so died some white taffeta ribbon with crumb cake ink and loosely gathered it onto a piece of sticky strip.  Hemp thread, a crystal button and some of the soft Flower Trim roses which have been sponged with Regal Rose were added. Lastly I stamped a butterfly from  Kindness Matters  and 2 leaves from  French Foliage  in Certainly Celery, which I hand cut out and mounted with dimensionals. Emboss Resist is always a really effective technique for that added dimension. these are a few samples from a recent class where we tried the same technique in different ways. My photography is not the best so I apologise. This sample used the gorgeous Elements of Style set (p113 #121504) First I embossed the floral image with white embossing powder (p159 #109132) and coloured the images using the Stampin' Write Markers. I used Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette. Then to protect them from the background stamp marring the colours and also to add a bit more detail, I covered the coloured images with Crystal Effects (p177, #101155). I love this stuff! I left it to dry for quite a while till it was set. Then I stamped over the whole image with the Woodgrain Background Stamp using Early Espresso, and cleaned the residual ink off the embossed and coloured image.  The Hummingbird I embossed with the Early Espresso Embossing Powder (Summer Mini  p35 #128980) as, well as the...
