Clockworks

have been playing with the great Clockworks set and have come up with a few different looks. i love the handy background stamps as they are easy to create a variety of looks with only one colour or can make a good cover using 2 or more dfferent shades.  The clockface is easy to use. i have experiemented with different options. My favourite is to emboss the numbers with white embossing powder then emboss resist sponge the face with Sahara Sand. Lastly I stamped the Watch case and embossed this with the Close to cocoa powder before cutting out the watch and attaching it with dimensionals. i have stamped the hands onto a scrap of double layer cardstock and cut them out also. For several of the watchfaces I have sponged first then added some shimmer paint using a sponge dauber. I also like the clockface sponged in a bright colour like Calypso Coral. For one of the clocks i have stamped onto Vellum Cardstock and cut out the face, either the full face or as a ring. Using...

Blue Collage

Blue Collage I do have a thing for squares and geometry. This little collection uses many Stampin' Up! products but also a few from my collections over the years. the floral paper is from Liberty of London from a recent trip, buttons and hat pin from my stash.
