JAI#337 Just adding a pair of Boots using Old and New, and tgifc#82

The challenge to just add 2 is thrown down from the team at JAI, ie two from the choice of Diecut, doily and DSP., and TGIFC#82 had gorgeous Autumn colours so I am entering this in both challenges. So here are a few cards I created for the Emerald markets recently. The diet flowers are from both the new Jar of Love bundle and the old Perfectly Preserved set! similarly, the DSP is from the new Serene Scenery pack and an old  retired Halloween paper. They are just a bit of bright fun using the Country Livin' set. The boots are stamped in Archival Grey and coloured with an aqua painter on Shimmery White Cardstock. thanks for looking, Liz Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack - 141642 Price: $17.50 Jar Of Love Photopolymer Bundle - 142342 Price: $92.50 Whisper White A4 Thick Cardstock - 140490 Price: $12.25 Linen Thread - 104199 Price: $8.00 Shimmery White A4 Cardstock - 121717 Price: $14.00 ...

Thankful for Friends and opportunities, JAI#281

Well it's World Card Making Day Saturday October 3 and I'll be away but I have made a card in advance to celebrate friendship and gratitude. I have used some of my all time favourite RETIRED sets and a bight colour combination of Night of Navy,  Melon Mambo,  Cucumber Crush Which are 3 of my favourite colours so I am going to enter it into Just Add Ink #281 I still love the detail the tiny tags add! The stamps are: French Script - my first ever Stamping' Up! purchase and still a fave... Perfectly Preserved Tiny Tags and Pursuit of Happiness IF you would like to make a card to celebrate World Cardmaking Day I'd love to see it, You can send me a photo and I'll load it here Thanks for looking, and I hope your day has some time for creativity in any form, Liz Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Sheltering Tree , two pink options

I love tree stamps and seem unable to resist a new one!!! So when the me Sheltering Tree stamp set appeared in the new catalogue it was instantly on my wish list. It has taken me longer than I thought it would to get some use out of it and this one is using  Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo and Crushed Cantaloupe.  With the two little pink polka dot hearts I am entering it in the Just Add Ink Challenge#250 - well that was the plan but I missed the deadline! No matter it is still a cute card. The button and orange ribbon is from one of the Sale-a Bration Pack s you can choose. My second Sheltering Tree card is a special birthday card for a work colleague who is a fabulous triathlete. The little bike is just for her! Melon mambo, Little leaves Sizzlits in Pear Pizzaz, Perfectly Preserved flower, Strawberry Slush twin e, and a few trinkets from my stash.  thanks for looking, Liz Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

More Perfectly Preserved

Combining the flowers from Perfectly Preserved  in Primrose Petals  and the flowers and leaves from   Summer Silhouettes for a birthday card. Other colours are Gumball Green and Night of Navy. Last birthday card: both the layers of Night of Navy cardstock and Whisper white have been had the jar shape cut out with the framelit before assembling the layers. the white layer has also been embossed with the dots embossing folder. There is something nice and fresh about the cherries. The button which holds the birthday banner has been stamped and punched out of card to avoid too much bulk that a real button would create - even though i do love real buttons.     Thanks for looking, Liz
