Sneak Peak from Sale-A Bration 2016 "What I Love"

Well its' almost time for the New Catalogue to go live and this is my last Sneak Peak for you. It's a simple card using one of the Sale-A Bration sets called "What I Love" and it's a 3 step stamp, with a gorgeous simple font.  Calypso Coral on Crumb Cake with Mossy Meadow background paper from Going Places Suite. That little bit of Shimmer is from the Wink of Stella pen- your' going to love this one!  Rose Red and Garden Green on White. Paper from English Garden DSP, and the Project Life Grid Journalling Cards Simple and quick, a great little layout which is easy to mass produce. Thanks for looking, Liz

CTC#44 In Colours

Welcome back to this week's CTC bloghop, using the new In Colours for inspiration this week. You may have arrived from Julia's beautiful blog, she has such amazing work. I love the new colours but haven't managed to combine them all together successfully, so this week I have 2 cards using different colour combinations. Last week's Artistic Expresssion catalogue section had so many cards for inspiration so I have used a few of them for the card layouts. The first uses the Striped Scallop Thinlits card on page 117 Rebecca CASEd this card last week and it was gorgeous! (You can see it on her blog "the paper and stamp addict" under CTC43 feeling Artsy?), I had already made this card so it was good to see another sample and colour combo.  I love the striped scallop thinlits but haven't used it as much as I thought I would - or as much as the lattice die which I really miss! CTC#40 Gift wrap and Packaging

I can't believe another week has gone by already! But her we are hopping around the CTC crew looking at how many different ideas we all come up with from the inspiration pictures in the Gift Wrap and Packaging section of the catalogue....So Welcome! I'm at the end of the hop since I was late getting organised so you will have seen some beautiful projects on your way here. You may have arrived from Julia's blog. Gifts and Packaging are always fun to paper crafters, and especially so with all the beautiful papers/ tools/ embellishments and fun products availalble. I started with a CASE of a CASE when I fell in love with a little handbag on Bronwyn's Blog from the stamp review crew using the Petite Petals stampset some weeks ago. The instructions originally come from Scrap and stamp with Frenchie   ( here )  and it is a quick little project. My first little bag is made with some of the gorgeous English Garden DSP using old olive and blushing bride as the trims. ...

JAI #271 a sketch challenge and tgifc#12 Brand New toys

Love new toys and I have just received the Set A whole Lot of Lovely. It's beautiful, and it was perfect for trying out a new card style which I have wanted to play with (from Julie Davison ) I have made few others but haven't photographed them yet - will add them soon, be sure and check back for more samples of this cute card layout.
