Welcome to the delicious pastel Colour INKspiration bloghop

Welcome! This is a very exciting day as we launch the very first Colour INKspiration bloghop! Thanks so much to Bronwyn for her vision and energy in setting this up.The real beauty of this creative challenge is that anyone who has a facebook page can join in!  You do need to be a member of the group - which is by invitation- so if you aren't a member already just email me to join in. That's right - you don't need to have your own blog to participate. Simply make a creation using the current colour inspiration photo and take a photo of your work and upload it to the Facebook page. Jar of roses - a delight of nature with a colour challenge from the Paper Players and SUO

Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #152 this week is all about taking delight in nature - and what could be more delightful than a bunch of roses - well maybe Home grown roses but that is a rare occasion here since I spend too much time at the craft desk to get any meaningful gardening done!! None the less a jar of roses is a beautiful thing! And taking a cue from the Paper Players 303 colour challenge I have had a bit of fun stamping.  And just for good measure a little touch of sparkle with some wink Of Stella! thanks for looking, I hope you have found some time to be creative today, Liz

This week we are using the Sale-a-Bration catalogues again- not too many more weeks and it will be over again for another year, but there is still time to get your favourite set for free with your $90 purchase. You may have come from Jackie's blog  or you maybe starting here. Sit back and enjoy the projects. I have chosen the sketch on the front page of the supplement for the recent releases - the same sketch as Julia this week, but with quite a different result. This is the first time I have inked up this lovely set and I really enjoyed the layering. My roses are done in Pink Pirouette as the base, Blushing Bride second, and Rose Red for the top detail, while the leaves are Mint Macaron and Cucumber Crush. I think the collage stamping suits a 90th birthday - what do you think? And just to decorate the inside, a little touch of collage stamping with some added Timeless Texture. ...
