Lillybet's Papers

I have been playing with the beautiful new Petal Palette set and really enjoying all the possibilities it offers. We will be using it at our stamping retreat this weekend and I'll be basing a class around it in February.   I am also combining this card with a new challenge - new to me - Inspire.Create Stampin Challenges #009 Love seems just perfect for this card. I have stamped the roses with archival black ink and coloured the roses using an aqua painter and real red and coral inks. The leaves are painted in both old olive and garden green. I don;t have any of the glimmer embossing paste but I am loving using the regular embossing paste and sprinkling it with dazzling diamonds while it is still damp and just waiting for it to dry. I have done that same technique on a number of cards. The little lace panel is cut using the thinlits that pair with the Petal Palette set,  - the Petals and More thinlits. This textured piece is such a lovely addition to that set. ...

The challenge to just add 2 is thrown down from the team at JAI, ie two from the choice of Diecut, doily and DSP., and TGIFC#82 had gorgeous Autumn colours so I am entering this in both challenges. So here are a few cards I created for the Emerald markets recently. The diet flowers are from both the new Jar of Love bundle and the old Perfectly Preserved set! similarly, the DSP is from the new Serene Scenery pack and an old  retired Halloween paper. They are just a bit of bright fun using the Country Livin' set. Continuing on my week of thankyou cards for all the wonderful people who helped me with #creativerelief this is a quick post using the great sketch at tgifc#07 I just love the little wooden Expressions Natural Accents  from the new catalogue, and I'm so loving the Brick Wall embossing Folder and that great leaf image from Crazy About You And since it's just as fast to make 2 at a time here is a simpler version using black and the Hello You   Thinlits.
