 I have recently posted the instructions for the Mini Bendi card which I quite like making! You'll find detailed instructions on this post from February 2023 I just found some old photos of other samples which I had made but never shared on the blog so here they are. It might give you some ideas for other ways to try this great design. And of course the rainbow cards were lots of fun to make. The decorative border on the Bendi strip could be substituted with all sorts of alternatives.  I have also seen variations where flowers etc are adhered directly to this strip to make a stand up garden as an alternative idea.  I have had such fun creating cards this week using the Rainbow of Happiness set.' I have CASE'd Jenn Frost in my post JAI#597 on April 3 and this is another CASE of the same design. This is Very Vanilla, and the rainbow diecut is from some Pearlescent Vanilla card and is elevated on the foam sheets - these make die cutting a breeze! The Happy die is retired but is so very useful. I have cut the word and the clouds from the Rainbow Glimmer paper which is also sadly retiring. There's a tiny bit of soft stencilling on the background panel but everything else is vanilla. and here's my inspriation pic by Jenn Frost. The rainbows really are fun to use.  It has been a luxury to have some creative time this week, and I have been catching up on some tutorials which I listened to but wasn't able to complete until now. And it's all things RAINBOWS! I've made 3 sets of 4 cards and bundled them up ready for gift giving. I chose a bright and happy colour combination and just went from there. Cutting one colour of each of the rainbows gave me 2 sets of cards. I also created a simple wallet to hold them all.- many thanks to Susan Wong for all her inspiration and measurements. Here's the wallet open and the 4 cards. They are all blank on the inside and I included a mix of sentiments. This is the wallet closed and filled with the 4 regular cards and envelopes. This is my colour combination for this project.  Decorating the front was just as much fun as decorating each card. I have had the luxury of having quite a bit of time to be creative this week and have really enjoyed the opportunity to follow along with some favourite challenges and groups for inspiration and ideas. One of those groups is "the Crafty Carrot" and I participated in their March workshop using Rainbow of Happiness- and it certainly did make me happy! Jennifer Frost is one of the designers and she has a special interest in "using up your stash" and using past products- which is perfect since I DO have quite a few on my shelves. So this card is CASE'd from her project. I have a few more which I will share soon ( who am I kidding, I have a LOT more !) The Hand Penned stamp and dies are current - and staying for another year which is fabulous. Same for the Embossing folder and the INcolour Shimmer vellum. Sadly the rainbow dies are not in the new Annual Catalogue which starts on May 2, but I am hopeful that the rainbows will carry over after the end of June when that...
