Foliage Framelit and the new Embossing Mats- CASEing Chad

HI again, I'm still playing with the fabulous Foliage Frame Framelits.  If you have followed my earlier posts over the last few days you would have seen those samples. It really is a beautiful suite. I have again used the embossing mats and the large floral framelit, and that's all from the set this time. Today I have a few easel cards. If you follow me you'll know I do lots of Easel cards- they are a great seller at the markets and I will have a stall at the Rockhampton River Festival next month so I'm madly creating lots of cards! I've used the gorgeous Garden Impressions Paper for these- and how ADORABLE are those new little Candle Embellishments - 12 gold and 12 silver adhesive backed candles in the pack. I'm sad because I only just discovered that the gold and silver metallic hearts and stars are retired. I think they look perfect with these..... Foliage Frame Framelits- such a great way to use the new Embossing Mats.

Hello and welcome back, today I have a few projects made using the other brilliant embossing framelit from this set. You can see the earlier posts if you search under the labels Foliage Framelits, or Floral Frames- or just go back one day! For the first one I coloured the leaves with an aquapainter. -ok but not great. For the second I added no colour and just layered it up on some gold foil offcuts sitting on my desk. Inside reads Wishing you a lifetime of love from the Better Together set. And the third show how the stamped image is so much larger than the framelit. I sponged the leaves with Mint Macaron for this one. I like this effect much better. I'm also loving the new Subtle embossing folder! After my last Facebook post with the my window card using this set I was directed to another Demonstrator who used this set and I was able to see the Stampin' Up! video which details how to use the new Embossing Mats. I swear I have searched for one b...

Gumnut Flowers using the Foliage Frame Framelits

I've had such a nice time playing with these new Framelits. My first card using this set was this one. You can see more detail about the leaves in my earlier post here . But here's a different card using the gumleaves. I created the gum nuts using the petal of an old flower punch and frayed some Berry Burst ribbon, The tufts are sandwiched between two gumnut shapes using glue dots. It's a cute card but a little fiddly to get the gumnuts rights. Here's the other leaves in the set. you can see the difference between the gum leaves before and after embossing with the embossing mats. The sentiment is from Varied Vases. Brand New Foliage and Floral Frames- SWOON!

Hello again, it's been a while since I created a project just because I love it- with orders and classes and markets - oh and family and work - most of my creating has been for a purpose. So today it's been so nice to just play with some new products and enjoy the process - doing what I love. And my new set is a frame set- so that fits perfectly with the challenge at Just Add Ink #414 The front has a little glimmer heart on the window, and this is mirrored on the inside along with the same stamp. I am going to love using this set. Whenever there are new sets around there are few inspiration pictures on Pinterest etc so it forces me to sit and play and discover for myself, which is such a nice process. So here's what I learnt with this set: The framlelits don't actually cut out the big floral stamped image- I obviously didn't have a close enough look at the images in the catalogue. So I have fussy cut this image, but that wasn'...
