CTC#170 CASEing Tutti Fruiti and showcasing Papers

Hello again and welcome for another week of CASEing the Catty. ( Number #170 can you beleive that?)  I have been inspired by a sketch layout on page 28 of the catalogue this week - I'm on a mission to use up some of the lovely papers I have so I always study the catalogue for layouts that help me. I have also been inspired a post on the Stampin' Up! page recently by Rhoda MacPherson, one of the Artisan Design Team Members of 2018. Here's part of what she had to say I hope you’ll join in and try a paper challenge of your own. CTC#140 Inspired by the Babies and Kids section

Hello and welcome back for another week of inspiration from the Catalogue. This week we are using pages 102-111. But I am happy that thanks to CTC now that I have had it out I am much more comfortable with it. I challenged myself to CASE the card on page 105 and see what I could come up with. I even managed to get some Father's Day cards done as well. It is quite a versatile set once you get going with it. I love that you can stamp the images individually or put them all on a block to stamp backgrounds in a hurry. I sold all my baby girl cards at last week's markets so need a few to replenish my stash. But I couldn't make a girl card and not mirror it with a boy card. This image from page 105 shows you both the inspiration card and the fabulous images in the stamp ...

Interactive Card Class Card #3 Waterfall Card - Super Cute nautical theme for kids and babies.

I was asked to do a class using interactive cards or designs that were more interesting than the simple basic card. Since I always struggle knowing when to stop it's no surprise that of course I took the challenge and amplified it to not 1 but 3 interactive designs. The class was lots of fun and this is one of the projects we made. I had never made a waterfall card and had thought that it would be way too complicated so I put it off for ages. This class seemed like a good reason to try one and I was so surprised at how easy it really is- and just how super cute and effective. It was a big hit and I may have just convinced a few people that they NEED the Message in a Bottle set! I searched Pinterest (of course) but was unable to come up with too many cards made recently using current stamp sets so I just set about experimenting with the sets I have and I am really happy with the results. I found the best tutorial on Split Coast Stampers although there are plenty around. (it was ...
