#onstage 2022, Fancy Flora Suite Display Stamping, Sydney # 5 Different effects using different papers and a shaker card

Using the detailed dies creates such different looks depending on which paper you cut it from. Wedding cards are always in high demand and this is so effective cutting the card front with the large detailed die from the Pearlescent Specialty Paper. I have gold embossed a few flowers onto Shimmer card, and heat embossed a few leaves in white onto some vellum. The design of the die allows for layering some of the floral elements from the set onto the detailed background. It's a lovely easy effect. The second example uses the detailed die again and cutting it from another of the DSP pages but it is then directly adhered onto a window sheet. The frame is created using the Fabulous Frames dies and cutting directly from the Fine Shimmer 12 x 12 Paper Pack ( I just love this product) . Layer it all up with some adhesive foam strips and your shaker is a wow card. The gorgeous Fancy Flora DSP is so colourful and versatile. For the next 3 cards I simply left the DSP as the star of the show...

Poppy wedding cards using #72 colour INKspiration colour combo

This week's colour combination is just lovely to play with and after I cut out my full sheet of elements I was able to create a pile of cards. These are a few Wedding cards. Of course it's nice to have a splash of colour on the inside too. I was able to get quite a few elements from my sheet. And finally a card for any occasion. I hope you are inspired to try these colours, they are a lot of fun to use. Post a photo of your creation on our Facebook page . I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz

CI#61 Painting with white, gorgeous wedding colours

Welcome, and what a beautiful colour palette and inspiration pic we have this week. - I think I say that most weeks!!.. but seriously this week is gorgoeus. And I have a few orders for wedding cards so this inpsiration really set me to work. I have created a few wedding cards using white Kraft Ink to paint onto the darker card surface. You can then colour with your markers of blender pen onto your white base, but I left the flowers white and simply coloured the leaves with my favourite green Mint Macaron. I used one of the gorgeous new masks coming in the Christmas Catalogue and while the embossing paste was still damp I sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  The floral image from Bloom and Grow was Clear Embossed onto Soft Suede cardstock and painted with white ink. I did a few coats allowing it to dry between layers. The leaves are coloured using just a marker. The card has a wishing well pocket inside to hold the notes discreetly so the ribbon is perfect to h...
