Hi again, just adding my card for the Just Add Ink challenge#201 - a colour challenge I love Sahara Sand, and Island Indigo. Pool Party is easy to use but adding Real Red did challenge me. I have used the retired sets Established Elegance and Vintage Verses . The gorgeous script embossing folder was first inked up with Sahara Sand ink to give the light and dark effect, and the Deco Labels Framelits seemed to fit with the vintage theme. I don't often use the Decorative Edgelits but now that they are out I think I'll play with them some more. I still have a few of the lovely Pool Party spotty brads, they always add a little something special. Thanks for looking, Liz

My friend at work asked me for gift cards to give to 2 of her daughters who are travelling soon to a "Pink" concert and shopping trip for their birthdays. Naturally, I had to use pink so I chose two firm favourites - Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals to partner with the Modern Medley DSP. I was able to use some scrapbooking letters I had in the "useful box" and some long retired " Hodgepodge Hardware " for the decoration on the front. Stamp sets include Curly Cute, Hodgepodge Happiness, Flower Shop and Vintage Verses. I experimented with the gift pocket for the cash and was happy with the closures. I used 2 small sizes of circle punch as well as the artisan label punch. On the front I secured the circles in place with a mini brad. This gave an anchor for the thread to wind around, and on the inside i glued a second circle over the opened brad arms so that the notes wouldn't catch on them. Hope that is clear!? Tempting Turquoise, for a possible Wedding Invitation. Love this colour I just love this set.  I particularly love the leaf image and have used it a lot. Here are a few samples. The Mixed Bunch flower set makes a great easy card when coordinated with circle punches and the Blossom punch. This is a card we made recently at a card class. It took a little bit of time but everyone was very impressed with their creations.  We used the brights colours plus Gumball Green, and the woodgrain background stamp as well as some sponging.  The Easter Blessings stamp made the sentiment easy. the Turquoise version was a birthday card using the Vintage Verses Set. I didn't have any measurements and just played around till I had something which worked for me. Essentially I took a standard A4 sheet of cardstock and trimmed it down to fit in a standard C6 envelope. Then i created a diagonal top edge. Well this is the first Valentine's Day Card I have ever made. It hasn't been a type of card i have ever given, but this year I have been inspired by the Vintage Verses Stamp  Set from Sale a Briton, and also by the gorgeous Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (129312) . I have taken one of the Midnight Muse pages and cut around the beautiful journalling section. I have mounted this on Midnight Muse cardstock and trimmed it with a small border to compliment the design. I love how intricate and delicate it is. Then I stamped the "day as perfect as you are" using the stamp n' write markers to colour selected sections of the rubber only. The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set (119185) and is stamped in Old Olive. The background paper is also Old Olive form the Polka Dot Parade DSP (126902) which has been sponged around the edges to soften the white polka dots a little. I Just love this Set. This also uses the Vintage Verses from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. I did get some inspiration for this card from one I saw on Pinterest, (from the very talented Heather Klump at hlkdownstairsdesigns.blogspot.com ) but I have put my own vintage perspective on it, and of course the Tiny Tags which I love to add to almost everything.  I have used Glossy Accents on the Primrose Petals standout Mannequin which adds a nice dimension.The Crystal Buttons seem perfect too. The lovely new Flower Trim from the new Summer Mini Catalogue are perfect and very easy to work with.
