CTC#56 Favourite Holiday Bundle - Christmas cards made easy

Welcome back to the weekly inspiration using the Catalogue as a springboard for creative ideas. The full list of participants this week is at CASEing the Catty  You may have arrived from Kathryn's beautiful blog   I hope you find some inspiration to get your Christmas crafting underway. There are so many bundles in this Christmas catalogue which makes crafting so much easier. I have chosen the beautiful Flurry of Wishes bundle this year, which is strange for me because Snowflakes have never symbolised Christmas for me but this set is just lovely. the photopolymer images have a celtic feel to them and the matching punch makes it super easy to whip up some great cards. We had a Christmas Stamp-a-stack recently and these are the cards we made. I am grateful to the original designer of this card since I have CASEd the layout from somewhere on Pinterest but it's such a gorgeous layout and perfect for a class.  I changed up the colour scheme to use Cru...

CTC#51 Winter Wonderland

Welcome back to the CTCbloghop where we all create projects inspired by the amazing samples in the Catalogue. It always amazes me how we all study the same pages and we can each see something different. I also find that going back to previous catalogues is a great way to find ideas. You may have arrived from Rachel's wonderful page or you may be starting here. We hope you find something to get you creating. I love the Flurry of Wishes especially because the sentiments in the set are lovely and simple. I am not normally taken with snowflakes as they simply don't say Christmas when you live on the tropic of Capricorn like I do but this set is quite lovely, and the matching punch is fabulous. I think it looks a bit Celtic in the design so maybe it appeals to my Irish...

CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44. I don't celebrate Halloween, nor am I usually all that partial to Orange shades, but maybe that's changing! because I really like the designs. The pack has several papers that are specifically...
