well sometimes the internet is agin me! Just lost a whole post ( and an hour or two, aaarrrggghhh!!!) so this will be better! My entry for WSFL colour Challenge certainly did challenge me as the Crisp Cantaloupe is a terrible colour ( in my humble opinion) In decided that since all my other entries for WSFL  have used the Hello Love stamp set that I should do that again,  which was easy since it's a great set. This Fancy Fold Card is easy and fits in a standard envelope. The base is 3 x 7" Score at 1 3/4" and 5 1/4" and also score 3/8" from each end. The glue strip goes on these little flaps. Fold the two side flaps to meet in the centre Decorate a large panel for the front, I cut mine out using the largest of the Window Frame s collections and then cut it directly down the Centre, Adhere each half to the card base on those little flaps.The inside panel for the greeting is 31/8 ' square. This is the card I created for a swap ( my first swap in fact)... and yes I ignored my own advice about keeping things simple!  I used Timeless Talk , and the Music Notes Roller Wheel . Gumball Green and Soft Suede ink. Window Frames Framelits and circle punches in 21/2", 13/8", 11/4" and 1". Pool Party cardstock 6x6cm and daffodil yellow 6.5 x 6.5cm. Linen Thead and small silver brads to finish.   It uses the fabulous Epic Day DSP which is very versatile for male cards. This version is a birthday card but it could easily be used for Father's Day. The embossed piece uses a Soon-to be-released Embossing folder from the Christmas Catalogue,( sneak Peak, Pretty Print EF )  it's fantastic. I have used the Crumb Cake cardstock and have swiped the raised surface with the Gumball Green ink pad. The new "Best of Flowers" Set features the gorgeous Hydrangea stamp though it is a smaller scale than the original. I have had some fun stamping with it. In this card I coloured directly onto the stamp with Soft Sky ink, than added a few highlights using the Wisteria Wonder Stampin' Write marker, and the Gumball Green marker for the leaves. Once stamped I softened the image with the Blender Pen and added a little more Wisteria colour also using the blender pen. The cardstock layers were cut using the Windows Framelits in Soft Sky and Very Vanilla, then I trimmed them down for a more rectangular shape, the green mat is Gumball Green. The Base layer is made using the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder which I inked up with the Soft Sky ink pad before running through the Big Shot - I  think this could be a new favourite colour for me! I really enjoyed making the sliding magic window card the other day - see Magic window birthday card using Afternoon Daydream -- I have this one today and another tomorrow.  My thanks go to Anna at Annas Art  for her great blog and pictures.  Annasart Card with magic Window This one came together easily with the gorgeous DSP with its sentiment page for inspiration. I will really miss this when it retires. The Wooden key is not SU bit all other item items are. Island Indigo is the cardstock layered on Very Vanilla. I have also used the stamps from Tiny Tags, Elements of Style, and Loving Thoughts, as well as the Window Framelits and the jewellery tag punch . I needed a special birthday card for a special friend who is also a demonstrator and whose favourite colours are Pool Party and Pink. So it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make one of those designs that are on my  "must do One Day" list ( a very long list!) My thanks go to Anna at Annas Art  for her great blog and pictures. Annasart Card with magic Window  I was able to follow the pictures quite easily and she has a few other samples to look at also. I used Pool Party, Primrose Petals and Whisper White cardstock , and the papers and a few embellishments from the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin Kit which has also been on my list of must use items. It wasn't difficult to make but did use a lot of cardstock. There is minimal stamping but you could certainly add more, and the Scrappin' Kit embellishments were so easy to use I will definitely be doing more of these.
