Welcome back. What gorgeous colours we have for this challenge. I love how fresh this colour combo is and this week I have used it for a batch of thankyou cards I needed to make. I also have some more tips for you using the STAMPARATUS. What a bonus for making multiples like this.  I have used 2 of the amazing Sale A Bration sets. The Heartfelt Blooms was not on my initial "Must Have" list but once you see it in real life and stamp with it you are hooked. It has amazing detail. The second set used is the Beautiful Peacock which appealed to me not for the bird but for the gorgeous swirl and those teeny tiny accent pieces.  Just a warning - this is a picture heavy post. lol..... I don't do videos but I learn by lots of pictures so I hope you will pick up a few tips this way too.   Handy Tip#1 - you can colour the silver Rhinestones using the alcoholic Stampin Blends. Hi there, today I wanted to share a quick tip with using the Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP(144125). This is a heavy weigth kraft card with foil designs printed on the paper - random spots, stripes and a chevron pattern. You get 4 colours in the pack - Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tangerine Tango and Soft Sky. I love the kraft card but did you know you can sponge and stamp on the card to change the kraft colour? too easy and such a great effect. I am not a huge fan of Lemon Lime Twist (I know, I'm in a minority) but I wanted to participate in the Just Add Ink challenge and my friend Lou Kitzelman on the design team commented on one of my other posts that she hoped I would come to love this colour so I have given it another shot!!  I don't love it on its own but it is quite gorgeous combined with Tranquil Tide, so I have watercoloured a strip using both, and stamped the leaves from Painted Harvest using both and then I took a strip of the Foil DSP and whacked the inkpad down t...

Welcome back- the weeks are really flying by now in the rush to the end of the year. I have a quick project today  - the set of cards created to meet a post office deadline. The challenge this week is to CASE something from the page of your age- or an age you'd like to be. My acutal age didn't really have anything inspiring, so the ages I would like to revisit are my mid 30's- our youngest child was a terrible baby and I had virtually no proper sleep for 2 years so I don't have many clear memories of the other kids at this age. I'm sure if I coudl revisit those years I'd really enjoy it this time around! Have you noticed the projects in the Catalogue with the  Quick and Easy   symbol? Hello and welcome back for the first round of our Christmas Holiday Catalogue projects. How exciting to be using the Christmas catalogue already. The products in the holiday catalogue are available now and I think there's something for everyone in there. I am CASEing the Quilted Christmas section but using some different products as I am not yet ready to make Christmas cards.  Each gift box contains 4 notecards and 4 envelopes and 4 gift tags. I have CASE'd the layout of the little notecard on the bottom of page 4(below), and the mini Pizza box on page 7.  The card is such a simple layout with a square of DSP as your base, a plain colour strip and a simple embellishment. I bought the quilted Embossing folder and wanted to use that so have embossed the panel for the box front and the vanilla strips for the notecards. ( the EF is not too easy to see on page 5, but it sure is lovely!) I stamped the leaves from the sunflower set using the babywipe technique. ...
