Cards from my Christmas Class - I'm loving the Musical Christmas set

Last Sunday I held my Christmas Card Stamp a Stack- as well as a technique class in the morning. Here's a few photos of the day and some of the Christmas Card Buffet cards I offered, as well as some other samples which I had created for inspiration. I am loving the Musical Instruments Framelits and the Musical Seasons stampset as well as the Musical paper. For my stamp a stack I run it as a card Buffet. Each card is done up in packs of 5, each participant chooses 2 packs. At the end of the day if there are extra kits left over participants may purchase additional packs and do the stamping/ cutting/embossing etc and take the pieces home to finish assembly. I don't necessarily use current DSP but I always use current stampsets. Because of this there are variable numbers of kits for each design depending on what supplies I have on hand. I find it a good way to use up large quantities of DSP which I may have accumulated. Sometimes not having enough ribbon or embellishment...

Happy World Card Making Day! I held a technique class and a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack so I'm happy to say I've seen lots of cards created today. And this is one of the designs we made today. Christmas is such a beautiful time of year and it brings images all about Sparkle!...  and that's what this week's hop is focusing on.  Welcome to another week CASEing the Catty.  The gorgeous new Year of Cheer paper is just lovely and it was the paper itself that inspired me this week. I just wanted something very simple to let the paper stand out- and also because at this time of year when time is getting more precious Christmas cards need to be fast to produce so you can create a large number. There are 3 sheets each of 4 designs in the pack, but I have only used 2 of the designs for these cards. There is gold, silver and copper foil printing on the papers which have a white base.
