Welcome back for the next instalment of Colour INKspiration - a fortnightly event where we create a project using a specified colour palette and share these in a Facebook group. - although this one runs for THREE weeks, so you still have time to share your project using these colours. Members of the design team share their creations and we invite you to also create a project using these colours and share it with us.  This one is #198 and uses Pool Party Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Very Vanilla, it's a great mixture of fresh and new, with Traditional.  Mine is not actually a Christmas card - but I did use the new !2 Days of  Crafting Advent Stampset.  I recently did a class for some lovely ladies, most of whom had not stamped before.  We created a few cards including this easy Z Fold card. This is one of the samples I showed them. I sometimes use a combination of metric and imperial measurements and this is one of those occasions. Cardbase 10.5cm x 29.8cm (half A4 sheet) score at 7.25 and 14.8 DSP 10cm x 14.3cm and 10cm x 7cm Cardstock for Z fold 3 inches x 9 inches score at 3" and 6" White Cardstock for Z fold cut 2 at 2 3/4" square. Well as the year has closed and I am stuck for some inspiration for where to get started with some new products I am looking back at some of my favourite and my most popular post from 2016. And I am totally grateful! By far the best thing about 2016 was getting to know my local demo friends better and spending more time creating as a group. The May CQ Craft Expo and Onstage on the Gold Coast really kicked off some great ideas and we have had much more fun times together this year. Secondly, being part of the CASEing the Catty team has really been amazing. I have learnt so much from this group of wonderful stampers, and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to meet most of them at Onstage in November in Brisbane.It was wonderful to meet and share with so many other creative people. I have enjoyed selling my creations at the Handmade Expo Markets in Rockhampton, and further afield. I have always loved tiled patterns and these 2 Z fold cards make the most of the gorgeous Print Poetry Designer Series Stack (#129312 on page 16 of the Summer Mini). The inspiration for these cards came a card I saw on Pinterest  (terrible time waster!, but oh so good). Barbara at  barbarascraftcircle.blogspot.com  has a tiled card in the Midnight Muse. Mine are similar but I have done a 4x4 version and stepped them up a bit with some added details. Any small punch would work just as well and I would love to try one with a heart punch and also one with circles.
