boxed sets a lovely gift

Everyone needs a stash of standby cards in the cupboard. I have been working on some sets of simple birthday cards - 2 male and 2 female. These are lovely with the wooden elements, bright colours and a simple sentiment.   The insides are decorated and all the envelopes are stamped to match each colour card  They come packaged in a cello box of 4 cards. I'll have these sets and many more all occasion cards available at the Christmas Markets this weekend. I can make sets to order for you as well, please feel free to ask I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz

Looking backwards to go forwards! First 6 of my favourites from 2016

Well as the year has closed and I am stuck for some inspiration for where to get started with some new products I am looking back at some of my favourite and my most popular post from 2016. And I am totally grateful! By far the best thing about 2016 was getting to know my local demo friends better and spending more time creating as a group. The May CQ Craft Expo and Onstage on the Gold Coast really kicked off some great ideas and we have had much more fun times together this year. Secondly, being part of the CASEing the Catty team has really been amazing. I have learnt so much from this group of wonderful stampers, and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to meet most of them at Onstage in November in Brisbane. It was wonderful to meet and share with so many other creative people. I have enjoyed selling my creations at the Handmade Expo Markets in Rockhampton, and further afield. I am always honoured when I am asked to make a Birthday or Wedding or Baby or Anniversary card for ...

Camera in a Box

I made this card earlier in the year for a good friend. I just discovered I neglected to post it, and I don't seem to have any directions and measurements recorded anywhere here!! I love the Card in a Box format and this post includes directions and measurements - with thanks to others as I have borrowed pictures from on the web!! There is a lot of cutting and prepping but the effort is worth it. CTC#106 Favourite Hostess Set

Welcome from Monique's blog  as this week we use our favourite Hostess Set - well that's hard!! They are all super cute,  but if I have to pick fave well it has to be the Pun Intended set. I have used this set extensively for birthdays and father's day and just beecause! This week I have made a little set of 3x3 notecards - since that is the theme of my class this weekend. I am using current colours but making a big effort to use up some of the DSP I have in my stash, so this project uses some Cherry on Top papers. And in the tradition of using up bits on my desk ... a few quick notecards. I love the notecards in both white and crumb cake, they make it a snap to pull a quick notecard together, and at around 50c for the card and envelope they are a great item, make sure you add them to your list! Well I have one more Mini - Z fold card photographed for you today. It uses the fabulous Pun Intended and the ladies in my Father's day Class made these on the weekend. They all loved how easy they were. You'll find the link to the post with instructions here , and a few more samples on this page . I feel this loosely applies the sketch from the Paper Players#310 this week. I  I hope you give these a try, thanks for looking,   Liz

Another few easy mini Z fold card with a masculine/Father's day theme

Since the Mini Z fold cards are so easy to make, and you get 2 from each sheet of A4 cardstock I have been able to make a few at the same time. Here's another 3 , still using masculine elements which would be perfect for Father's day or a birthday. You'll find the link to the instructions on this post here , and also another example here . The first uses Swirly Bird, and the sentiments and anchor are from Guy Greetings. The next uses Guy Greetings. And of course they all have matching handmade envelopes! I hope your Dad or the man in your life has a wonderful Father's Day this weekend, thanks for looking,  Liz
