Welcome back for another round of Colour INKspiration. I love the inspiration picture, but I have to admit I struggled with this combination! In the end I am quite happy with the final result- but quite a few options did land in the scrap bin! I have used the fabulous Waterfront set- I'm so glad this is carrying over, as well as the Love Life set for the sentiment inside. The sentiment on the front and the little heart inside come from the Tabs for Everything set. I find this unassuming little set really comes in handy.  The yellow paperclip is a one of those bits and bobs that fill my stash of embellishments- you never know when one is just going to be perfect. I do love the feeling in this sentiment. It sums up a lot of essential truth I think. Next on the hop this week is Bronwyn , I'm always intrigued to see what everyone creates- especially when the colours have really been a challenge for me. Hello. I have been having fun with the Waterfront Stampset and trying to create a few picture cards inspired by our recent New Zealand cycling holiday..... well late February is still recent for me. These cards have been in progress for a while .... We went to the South Island of New Zealand and cycled the Alps to Ocean trail over 5 days. It was absolutely wonderful and the scenery was glorious. Cyclone Gita caused an unseasonal snow fall on the mountains around Lake Tekapo and the colours were picture postcard everywhere we looked. Truly a holiday to remember.  It's not easy to capture the real colours but I had fun playing. Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo This was 10 of us out of the 14 on the trip.
