How beautiful are the stunning new Dainty Delight Dies? - available in the Mini catalogue and coordinating with the Dainty Delight Stampset and the free paper available with purchase as part of Sale a Bration. I was inspired by Jan Clothier in the Colour INKspiration of #135 and knew I had to add the dies to my collection. I have loved playing with them.. There is a beautiful leaf spray and some delightful tiny flowers as well as outline dies for some of the floral sprays in the stamp set. I love the dandelion shape, it looks great no matter what paper you cut it from? to start the new Year we have a fabulous colour palette. It's been a long time since the Sale A Bration offerings included a punch, and it's been a few years since we had a small flower punch so it's very exciting that this year the Small Bloom Punch is a level 2 option - ie you can choose it as your free item with a purchase of $180. The stamp set is a level 1 option and works totally well as a stand alone product.  I wanted some #simplestamping cards and was quite happy with this clean layout. I used a few different colour options, and the Stamparatus made it super quick to produce a few thankyou cards which I have been meaning to send for a little while.....so now I have a stash to share. here's the first colour palette. what a lovely sentiment inside, and I used another of the 2 images from the stampset for the wee sprig. WELCOME back - it's so good to be here again. I've been away and super busy lately with a 3 day river festival market in Rockhampton last weekend,  with stock for the shop, with teaching classes and with family - none of whom live close by.  So it's lovely to be back and this week we are taking inspiration from the Garden Lane DSP colour palette- so many greens. .  I have a project which I have been working on to teach at Injune in central Qld next month so a few friends had a practice run today. Three ladies created the same basic design but you can see how individual differences are so wonderful, and how different background pieces change the whole look of the project. The central panel  of 6x6" is watercoloured using only Mossy Meadow, but everyone's turned out different. The magnolias are created from Whisper White with Daffodil Delight centres. Welcome to Colour INKspiration for the 20th colour challenge! and what a gorgeous inspiration pic for this weeks colours We were invited to a beautiful young couple's wedding this week, and the colours and picture just inspired me to make this wedding card. All the invitations and wedding stationery was adorned with lovely watercolour flowers so I wanted to use that theme in the card. Initially I was going to fussy cut pieces and incorporate them, but in the end I only added them to the inside, although I did cut their names and date from the 'save the Date' card and added them to the front. The front bouquet was made using the babywipe technique with just a few drops of Coral and Cherry inks. I was really surprised and pleased with how lovely they look together. The blossoms are from the Beautiful bouquet bunch set. I cut 2 sets of stems - one from Artichoke and one from shimmery White card which I then watercoloured with Artichoke ink. I like the depth ...

Hello there, we made this card at class the other day and the ladies all had lots of fun making them. I had a few kits left over so I made them up into a set and boxed them ready for the markets. I always stamp the inside and the envelope to match. And I have recently spoilt myself and bought a personal embosser - I love it. It says Lilllybet's Papers - Handcrafted Paper Goods. I have been creating a few paper patchwork art pieces and just LOVE the Hexagon punch. I used the Calendar Papers that were available in last years Christmas mini catalogue. They are all gorgeous patterns and just looked like a patchwork to me! This is a selection of random patches glued to cover a card base, then I have run the entire piece through the Bigshot with an embossing folder to give it that depth of texture and make it look like a fabric patchwork . The white mat frame was too stark so I have sponged this with some River Rock ink to age the look and soften the feel. All the embellisments are Stampin' Up! with the exception of the pearl hatpin and the yellow paper rose. Regals buttons, Natural buttons, Crystal Buttons, Little Leaves Sizzlit, Seam Binding Ribbon, Tea Time Trinkets, Linen Thread, Butterfly Punch, HEarts sizzles etc I love buttons and trinkets and had fun putting this together. I was asked to make a Christening Card for a family that have adopted 2 girls, but they are  a 10 yr old girl and an 8 month old girl so it couldn't be a baby card. I don't have any sentiment stamps for a christening but I thought that "oh Happy day" from Bloomin' Marvellous seemed perfect. The paper flowers are not Stampin' Up! but the Lattice die, Embossing folders, Pink Pirouette Ribbon (retired) and Curly Label Punch are all SU products. I had to watch Teneale Williams video from Convention 2011 again to perfect the double bow technique Teneale Williams Stampin' Up! Workshop WOW Ribbon (thanks Teneale, love all your work). And it just needed a little something to fill in a few gaps, so I twirled a thin strip of cardstock to look like a trailing ribbon, and stamped the butterflies from Kindness Matters in Primrose Petals, then sponged them with Pink Pirouette and punched it out with the Small Butterfly Punch nad nestled it down near the bow. The Mixed Bunch flower set makes a great easy card when coordinated with circle punches and the Blossom punch. This is a card we made recently at a card class. It took a little bit of time but everyone was very impressed with their creations.  We used the brights colours plus Gumball Green, and the woodgrain background stamp as well as some sponging.  The Easter Blessings stamp made the sentiment easy. the Turquoise version was a birthday card using the Vintage Verses Set. I didn't have any measurements and just played around till I had something which worked for me. Essentially I took a standard A4 sheet of cardstock and trimmed it down to fit in a standard C6 envelope. Then i created a diagonal top edge. This is a birthday card for a 21 yr old  who loves Pink, and sparkles-  so there is plenty of bling. It was easy to make using the Simply Scored tool This is the inside of the box with the posy of paper flowers, a ribbon bow and button and heart decorated with dazzling diamonds glitter On the facing page is a pocket to put in a gift card, and 2 tags to write messages on. It closes and ties with a bow of pink pirouette ribbon.
