Creating with the lovely new IN Colours and Parcels and Petals.

With the release of the 5 new In Colours it's always fun to make a single card in each of the colours to show them off. This is a card I made for a swap and used at my Catalogue Launch. It's an easy make and take and uses the Parcels and Petals suite. I was inspired by an image on page 66 where this set is used for a tag on a gift bag, but I switched the elements into a card. And I stepped up the Terracotta Tile version to an Easel Card. I am entering these this week at the Inspire. Create Challenge. The flower stamp is so easy to use and I have another version using both Purple Posy and Seaside Spray with reminds me of a hydrangea. But that's for later. If you haven't ordered this set you should consider it- it's super easy to use. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz Product List Parcels & Petals Cling Stamp Set [ 149317...

CI#57 INKspired by the New Catalogue

Welcome back for another round of colourful INKspired projects. This is a gorgeous combination - but then anything with Lovely Lipstick is a winner for me!!!  I have been playing with some new stamps from the Brand New Stampin ' Up!  catalogue and was inspired by a project on page 66 using the new Petals and Parcels stamp set. I first fell in love with the "art deco" style line image in the set, but it tuns out the floral image is just amazing. I noticed the bag first but then the multicolour stamping in the tag caught my eye and once I started stamping I just couldn't stop!! This was a super quick card to put together once I got my layout chosen, The onlyGranny Apple ribbon I have is reversible with Coastal Cabana but I think it still works. A bright and fun card to make. At the moment I NEED quick cards in my repertoire so this perfect because it satisfied that need for creating an individual look as well as being easy to produce multiples. I use...

White on White and soft pastels for JAI

At last I have met a few deadlines with various projects/work/family commitments and have finally found a little bit of time for creating again- feels good!!! So I took some inspiration from Just Add Ink #456 this week. I do love white on white and have a few projects I need to create so this was a good starting point. I also used the sketch from CASe this Sketch #321, and some retiring punches  which haven't seen as much use as I would have predicted. Soft Sea Foam is such a beautiful I think and I wanted to keep it to only one other colour so it worked well for the background and for the leaves. I simply watercoloured a scrap to punched out the leaves. I was going to use the flower centres too but decided on pearls instead. I have so many gorgeous embellishments that I end up hoarding them so this used quite a few!! Here's how to make the daisies. I also used a new set Parcels and Petals  for the sentiment and the inside, and I love the soft l...
