CASEing the Catty#23 and JAI#255 Eggs or Ovals

It's time to make Easter cards and that fits really well with the JAI challenge to use eggs or ovals. Lucky Limeade Retiring Colour with Million Dollar Moments

Trying very hard to get to play with some new products, only problem is the accumulated samples and trials on my desk, so I am slowly clearing away the pile of unfinished ideas, being very disciplined and finishing each one.  I have had these PoolParty gals on my desk for so long! I love this retired DSP and have teamed it with some Lucky Limeade Cardstock, various ribbon trims,brads, buttons and bows and some embroidery thread. I am quite happy with how they turned out because I have been avoiding them for ages. Each card has a strip of Pool Party C'ordinations cardstock embossed using the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder , which is then trimmed using the Large Scallop Edgelits and then sanded to give the 2 tone effect which I really love.The stamped image is from the Million Dollar Moment s set and it is cut with the Ovals Framelits.  I used different sentiments and embellishments for detail. Million Dollar Moments and Polka Dot Parade

Have been playing around with the very cute stamp set Million Dollar Moments (#125135, on page 38 of the summer mini catalogue) It's a lot of fun to play with but it is only available as a Hostess Set. I like it so much I had to throw myself a party! So if you would like a set for yourself please contact me to book a party. I apologise for my poor photography, they do look much better in real life!! but here are a few samples. Thanks for looking, Liz Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand, with Dazzling details glitter to the brolly and the boots and the centres of the flowers. Tempting Turqoise DSP on Tempting Turquoise cardstock, layered onto Island Indigo card base. The image is stamped onto Very Vanilla and the Ovals Framelits  were used to cut out the image and the Island Indgo mat behind. The Strip of "clouds" was made using the Tempting Tuquoise  ink which I used to cover the  fancy Fan embossing folder befor running it throught the Big Shot ....
