wedding Wishes with a bright pink Dahlia.

Just wanted to quickly share a wedding card I made recently for a friend. I didn't know for sure that pink would be the bridal colours but it was a good guess.  I love the Definitley Dahlia stamp for a solid base of colour, and Flirty Flamingo is such a great pink to use. the sentiment is from Rose  Wonder and is such a beautiful font. Thanks for looking, Liz

On Stage a Display Samples - Love, Love, Love the new colours!

Well I was so thrilled - and nervous - about being selected as a display Stamper for Onstage. It's quite wonderful but 6 of the dusting team members from CASEing the Catty were selected. Judy May, Kathryn Mangelsdorf, Rebecca Scurr, Julia Quin, Jess Williams and myself. We all received different products to use. I was lucky enough to be sent all the new colours and 2 new stampsets to play with. I just love the new colours so here are the first lot of photos of cards I made. These use a returning stamp - the wonderful Dahlia. There are not too many background stamps in my collection which are returning so I started with this image for a full colour coverage. Dapper Denim - such a fabulous blue. I love it. Peekaboo Peach - teams beautifully with Pumpkin Pie too Emerald Envy Flirty Flamingo And for some reason I don't have one of Sweet Sugarplum on it's own so here it is teamed with a three tone version. I think the Flamingo, Peach and Sugarplum together ...

Beautiful little butterfly for GDP#022, with the TCTC#5

Back again! And in my bid to join the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement I have been busy creating cards today. While this one doesn't have any sentiment on it, I have a birthday person in mind. If you haven't heard about this movement you should join in. I explain it in more detail in this post. My friend Bronwyn Eastley is a well known Australian Papercrafter who has recently launched "The Colour Tree Challenge" which goes live each Sunday evening, along with our CASEing the Catty Bloghop (and monthly Challenge) .  I had the colours on my desk for another Set of cards so it was natural to keep on creating with them. The background Definitely Dahlia Stamp is new to my collection and I'm loving it. Here I have embossed with clear powder on the Kraft Cardstock, and I have used it with only Versamark on the Navy base. Some watercolouring on the Shimmer Paper circle and some fussy cutting of the beautiful little butterfly from the Grateful Bunch set...
