Lillybet's Papers

I confess I own a little bit of DSP!! So I occasionally force myself to use some! I have to convince myself that it's ok to cut it! (#loveitchopit!) But it's so nice when a new product makes you reinvent an old product. The foil Frenzy DSP comes in four colours - Berry, Tangerine, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist. I'm so pleased to say that the Lemon Lime is a vibrant lime colour and seems to tone very nicely with Old Olive and with Pear Pizazz. It's a versatile colour. I tried it with some of the Pretty Petals (retired) paper which has quite a lot of old olive, and was pleasantly surprised at how well they go together. I created a quick set of thankyou cards using the layout from Case This Sketch #234. I added a small loop of the shimmery ribbon, some baker's twine and a leaf stamped and punched using the COMING Painted Harvest stamp set and matching leaf punch. It's gorgeous! Welcome back to a new week - and a big welcome to some new design team members. It's great to have some very talented new card makers on the CTC team. Congratulations to them all, they each contributed over the month of June on our Facebook page. You're going to enjoy seeing their creations as we go forward this year. Be sure and leave some comments on their posts or on our Facebook page to welcome them.  We also have a few Guest Designer spots coming up too. Such a wealth of talent all around us. Well I am grateful for so many things and while I often feel thankful I know I don't send enough thankyou cards to actually say so. In fact Thankyou cards are usually whipped up in a hurry around here so I can get it posted or delivered before too much time has passed from the event.
