Thankful for Friends and opportunities, JAI#281

Well it's World Card Making Day Saturday October 3 and I'll be away but I have made a card in advance to celebrate friendship and gratitude. I have used some of my all time favourite RETIRED sets and a bight colour combination of Night of Navy,  Melon Mambo,  Cucumber Crush Which are 3 of my favourite colours so I am going to enter it into Just Add Ink #281 I still love the detail the tiny tags add! Magic Window card for 25th Anniversary using Fan fair DSP

I really enjoyed making the sliding magic window card the other day - see Magic window birthday card using Afternoon Daydream -- I have this one today and another tomorrow.  My thanks go to Anna at Annas Art  for her great blog and pictures.  Annasart Card with magic Window This one came together easily with the gorgeous DSP with its sentiment page for inspiration. I will really miss this when it retires. The Wooden key is not SU bit all other item items are. Island Indigo is the cardstock layered on Very Vanilla. I have also used the stamps from Tiny Tags, Elements of Style, and Loving Thoughts, as well as the Window Framelits and the jewellery tag punch . Print Poetry Designer Series Paper

Raspberry Ripple sponged onto individual flowers from the beautiful Flower Trim  (page 5 of the Summer catalogue). Tagtastic Sentiment, and large scallop embosslits (love it!) Butterfly punched twice for added definition, Tiny tags and jewellery tag punch - of course - attached with Vintage Trinket Scallop Rectangle Clearlits  (page 191 of Catalogue- what a bargain item) and Delicate Design Embossing folderTrimmed with Large Scallop Edgelit How did I make cards before the big shot??? This Paper is just so lovely and easy to use. I love all of them, but I am particularly taken with the Raspberry Ripple pages. The in colour ribbon is easy to use, and I love that you can sponge any colour onto the soft flower trim to highlight any card. Established Elegance and Vintage Verses from Sale-a Bration

I Just love this Set. This also uses the Vintage Verses from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. I did get some inspiration for this card from one I saw on Pinterest, (from the very talented Heather Klump at hlkdownstairsdesigns.blogspot.com ) but I have put my own vintage perspective on it, and of course the Tiny Tags which I love to add to almost everything.  I have used Glossy Accents on the Primrose Petals standout Mannequin which adds a nice dimension.The Crystal Buttons seem perfect too. The lovely new Flower Trim from the new Summer Mini Catalogue are perfect and very easy to work with. Love Collage! So may great Stampin Up tools !!!

Another of my Collage frames. This time with a wedding flavour. These make beautiful gifts and are lovely to personalise with ephemera that holds significance for you and the recipient. I had lots of fun playing with very vanilla, crumb cake, ribbon and shapes and pearls of course, And I did mix and match from my overflowing craft box of goodies. Stampin' Up!
