Using all the blues.  Today I am sharing a card I intended to share for Colour INKspiration #169, but I ran out of time to get it photographed and posted.  I am following on in my series on techniques using White Pigment Ink. I hope you give some of these techniques a try. The Bokeh Technique is used to create a soft out of focus background which is similar to a photography where the light is in small circles. With White ink you can create this look by using a mask and sponging the white ink in circles. I use a piece of perspex and have cut 3 circles of different sizes. First take a background piece of card - this could be white or coloured - and apply coloured ink in patches. Welcome back for another week at CASEing the Catty as we work our way through the different sections of the catalogue. This week we look at pages 52-65, and my inspriation picture came from page 59 and the silhouette on the multicoloured background of watercolour wiht the Enjoy Life set. At least - that was where I started! I have always loved silhouette images and this set appeals to me for both its images and sentiments. I have been having a lot of success using the stamparatus and doing Multicoloured stamping.  So instead of watercolour I thought I'd try a multicoloured panel. Yesterday's post has all the instructions for how to do this (you can find it here .) I LOVE the Bokeh dots stamp images- this one is the starry background, isn't it gorgeous. So from there I switched up the colours and the stampset but still used the multicoloured panel and the silhouette image, but this time the tall tree from Rooted in Nature. Here'...

Hello and welcome back. Yesterday I posted about the bokeh dots montone colour card which I love, but today I have a few Multicoloured versions. You need the Stamparatus for this technique, and it's oh so easy. position your stamp on the stamparatus plate and ink up with a base colour,  for these cards I started with So Saffron stamp the image, making sure your magnets are going to keep your card from moving as you will be stamping repeatedly in the same position. no need to clean off the saffron ink using a sponge dauber apply a second colour of ink to one end of the stamp, I used fresh fig for the first version of this stamp and review your panel, you may want to add more colour to increase the depth so the colour transitions are graduated.  you can continue adding as much colour as you like until you are happy with the depth using a third colour (Old Olive) and the same technique apply ink with a clean sponge dauber to the opposite end.
