Sheltering Tree , two pink options

I love tree stamps and seem unable to resist a new one!!! So when the me Sheltering Tree stamp set appeared in the new catalogue it was instantly on my wish list. It has taken me longer than I thought it would to get some use out of it and this one is using  Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo and Crushed Cantaloupe.  With the two little pink polka dot hearts I am entering it in the Just Add Ink Challenge#250 - well that was the plan but I missed the deadline! No matter it is still a cute card. The button and orange ribbon is from one of the Sale-a Bration Pack s you can choose. My second Sheltering Tree card is a special birthday card for a work colleague who is a fabulous triathlete. The little bike is just for her! Melon mambo, Little leaves Sizzlits in Pear Pizzaz, Perfectly Preserved flower, Strawberry Slush twin e, and a few trinkets from my stash.  thanks for looking, Liz Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Card in a Box 2 - Flower Shop

The instructions are the same as for the previous post "Card in a Box" The second of my attempts - also for a special birthday. Similar colours but used the Flower  Shop stamp set and matching Pansy Punch and the Little Leaves Sizzlit. I do love sparkle but wasn't so successful with the superfine glitter- it's amazing how far that can spread! thanks for looking, Liz Still fits into a C6 Envelope. Butterfly is stamped in Marina Mist and is adhered to a strip of acetate so it wobbles a little.

I distressed the circles with my bone folder until the cardstock separated and then layered them back together and scrunched them up for some depth. They are stitched with some linen thread and a small flower button  extra small flowers punched out with a retired flower trio punch. The Little Leaves sizzlit was used, and the Apothecary Framelits for the Green label. The Thankyou is also a retired stampset. different view, not the best photograph sorry! This was a card made at my latest class using the lattice die and Mixed Bunch. very easy and quite quick - always a bonus. We used Regal Rose and Naturals White as the card base, the gi...
