Lillybet's Papers

This week at JAI the challenge is to  I was lucky enough to be one of the demonstrators selected to be on the development panel for Stampin' Up!'s new Stamp Positioning Tool- the STAMPARUTUS. It was a very long process but I think definitely worth the wait. But we had to wait until the Onstage Event to see it just like everyone else. One of the perks of being on that panel was a guaranteed early delivery and mine arrive today- so after a speedy dinner of leftovers I have had a little play and I have to say it's FABULOUS. Having only seen the videos which SU have put together it was really wonderful to actually get the feel for it and how easy it is to use. It is a beautiful quality product just as you'd expect. It will be a regular product from the middle of 2018 when the new Annual Catalogue is released. So it was super fast to whip up these 4 (Identical- Yay) cards tonight. I used all 3 elements - the tree from Sheltering Tree, the tiny tag u...

Welcome back to the next blog hop for colour INKspiration. I just love the colours this week - and my gorgeous daughter is a redhead so the inspiration picture really spoke to me. I rarely use Cajun Craze ( have you read that in 95% of the posts this week?) but it is quite a beautiful colour when you give it some love! When I first was introduced to Stampin' Up! the catalogue was actuall...

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. Aren't those pansies in the inspiration picture this week just stunning - those gorgeous yellows and strong purples. These are not colours I normally gravitate to but a challenge is all about extending yourself so i'm glad to have had a go! I have recreated a selection of jars with my very favourite Jar of Love set. I have made cards like this before using very bright colours which are fun and very sweet, (and I'll post them tomorrow, so make sure you have filled in the follow by email box on the right side of this page) but today I needed to make a Sympathy card for a good friend who also loves Stampin' Up! It's a card for my work friends to give a colleague so it needed to be big enough for lots of people to sign it.  This card measures 13 x 19cm and I chose this size simply because I had some large envelopes left over from some wedding stationery- they have a little embossed heart on the flap whic...
