Enjoy the Adventure DSP with Country Bouquet Gift Tote with set of Notecards.

At my Country Bouquet card class in February this is one of the projects we created.  A cute little Tote Bag which holds a set of 4 notecards. We first created the multicoloured strip of card using blending brushes, 3 colours of ink, ( Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Calypso Coral) on Shimmer Cardstock, White ink splatters, water splashes to lift some of the colour, and finally splatters of gold ink.  The Tote bag was inspired  from © Tammy Shaia, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Be Creative Stamping 7/11/2022 Display Stamper Country Floral Boutique. She does have a video showing all her projects. The advantage of this project is that is uses only half a sheet of 12 X 12 DSP and 1 ½ sheets A4 Cardstock, and it fits 4 Notecards and Envelopes ASSEMBLY Makes a beautiful gift. Lovely way to use  and show off your DSP Stamp a simple set of coordinating notecards. Use the largest stitched circle and a smaller one nested inside to cut 4 a rings which will be your bag handles Mark the cent

Country Bouquet Punch and Enjoy the Adventure DSP, and a handy tip

This card uses the Country Bouquet Punch and the beautiful Enjoy the Journey DSP. The background strip and one of the hearts are punched from the gorgeous starry sky sheet of DSP, and the background mat is from the reverse which is one of the mountain scene pages. Such beautiful bright colours. As a handy tip - to get the striped image for the large heart on the left I stamped 2 of the teacups siting one upright, and one upside down on top of it and then punched the heart from this stamping. You can always adapt your stamps to suit your project, and this is one way to use the heart punch if you don't have the coordinating stamp yet. I love that his card has no sentiment. These two products can be bundled together fo 10% saving. You can find them here And the gorgeous DSP is a Sale a Bration product available until 11pm Feb 28th! Please reach out if you have any questions about how it all works or about any of the products. As your Demonstrator I'm happy to help at any time.

Lovely Layout #1 - a few more samples

I recently shared some cards made using a simple layout which I find very useful. The 2 pieces - a strip of DSP and a stamped rectangle on an embossed or decorative full size mat can be used vertically or horizontally in any combination. You can find the original post and dimensions here Here's a few more samples. Instead of a sentiment strip I simply added a strip of Fine Shimmer Paper. Using a VERY old stamp set but one of my favourite first sets from Stampin' Up! I had a scrap of Fine Shimmer which wasn't the full size card base but I embossed it with the Fern Folder and I think it still works this size and is balanced. Using the small images from Country Bouquet Instead of a cardstock mat I have used DSP for the Background. This gorgeous paper is from the Enjoy the Journey DSP which is available as a Sale A Bration  FREE item with purchase. You can see the paper here Sale A Bration ends in only 2 days so don't wait to grab yourself some amazing products. These are

Lovely Layout # 1

I've always loved a good layout as a recipe for creating projects. I am putting together a few of my favourite layouts that I find really easy and versatile. The first uses one strip of DSP and a small rectangle for stamping and an embossed mat as your base layer. It works well both Horizontally and Vertically. Standard Card Base     21 x 14.8 scored at 10.5 Cardstock Mat               10 x 14.3 cm embossed with folder of your choice White / vanilla               7 x 8.5 cm  ( for stamping your main image ) DSP strip                         5 x 12 cm Sentiment                        2 / 2.5 cm x 9.5 One of the great things about this layout is that any piece of A4- white/ vanilla/ shimmer etc is 21 cm wide, so you can cut it into 3 strips from which to cut your main image piece. This is a great economical way to create multiple cards. Here's a few from my recent Country Bouquet class.  For the next 3 samples I have added assorted bits of glimmer/ foil/ edge detail to the stampe

Mini Bendi Card

The Mini Bendi Card has been around for a long time and it appeals to me because it's so simple and something a little bit different. It fits easily in a regular envelope and it stands up on the desk for your recipient to admire.  And it feels a little bit clever to create something like that! We did this one at class recently using the Country Bouquet Bundle. 2022 cards. I created a bunch of these cards last yea r but never wrote them up at the time, so today I am sharing some newly created versions as well. This is a picture heavy post so you can see how it fits together. As usual I like to create a metric version and have written up both metric and imperial measurements to make life simple.
