You know I love a fun fold and I found this design on Pinterest recently
We made it in our January class in orchid Oasis using the Dainty Delight stamp and dies and the DSP from Fancy Flora. Today's version uses the gorgeous colour palette for CI#137. It also uses Dainty Delight and Amazing Year
Here are the measurements.
Instructions:
Assemble the 2 panels first.
Burnish your M-V-M-V folds. At this point it doesn't matter which side you choose as the front, as the card is the same front and back
Adhere the middle panel first with even space above and below. Align the left edge 2-3 mm from the first Valley fold. T'hen open the card flat and adhere the front panel, keeping top and bottom edges lined up with the first panel you attached. Be mindful of only applying glue to the area to be adhered to the concertina section of the card base - you will have free edges of each panel which need to be mobile.
My photo is taken on the reverse,(and it's upside down) so even though the folds look incorrect the correct order is M-V-M-V!
And below is the class version on the left. You can always emboss your DSP with a folder for added interest. I've used the painted texture folder here.
I hope you give this great card fold a try. And pop back tomorrow as I will have another sample using a coloured card base.
